iPhone Coming To Verizon Due To Droid Fears

If they were to enable flash, would you prefer an iPhone over your Android device? They have better games and better apps, and with Verizon they would no longer lose the "on a better network" argument. Just about all the best apps and best games on the iOS go free for a day which means you get to keep a really awesome app for free, forever so long as you download it on that day.

I like both and will likely have an iOS device and an Android device.

actually flash is already working on the iphone... while not officially it works quite well.

just google "frash" needs to be jailbroken but thats no different then rooting android.

From a reps view, well IMO it doest matter how good the Droids and Android are people will switch just cus its the iphone.

I know I wont because its only a matter of months before we have an over all better product.

But it wont matter because its the "iphone, and its on verizon".

Part of me wants Verizon to say "F u apple, we dont want it". But after hearing "i heard the iphone is coming on xxxx" or 'when is verizon getting the iphone" i want it just to come out already so that people can quit bugging.


The one thing that I KNOW will happen when/if this phone comes out is that people will all of a sudden have "problems with there Droids" and want iphones.

O well fun times.

But this Is just from an agents/sales point of view. I know Verizon and Apple wants money so it will probly come out and to Verizon, it wont matter if the Droids are better, money means more than function.

isn't the iPhone that is supposedly coming to VZW going to be the 5th Gen iPhone? Also, how funny is it going to be if they still can't view flash websites, and still can only play 1 video format (.mp4), only able to sync on 1 computer, etc. I hope that they at least step it up and fix a few minor things. LIKE FLASH.

I think it's a safe bet, that if this does drop in Jan, then that is when the tiered data plans will also go into effect.

It'll be interesting to see how competition will improve the two OS's; Android & iPhone.

As for hardware functionality, Android will continue to be one foot ahead.

IF it comes to VZW, you will hear a lot of media buzz about how many units are sold, but in truth, most will be AT&T people jumping ship so the net gain for Apple won't be all that big in regards to total users.

IF it comes to VZW, it probably won't actually hit the market until June, that is the start of the new year on the Jobsian calendar, and no one is allowed to change the Jobsian calendar, except the messiah.

same here i had android since the g1 and now droid 1 and im good the way i am. To jump to iphone that cant even watch movie on the browser without kicking me to app store to charge $5-10 a month to play movie. That i can watch for free on droid

while i love my android i have to laugh at this comment. The benifit of the same company designing both the hardware and software is what makes the iphone run so much better then any other device on the market.

android is like a car you buy from a chopshop. You have the base then you add all sorts of random parts that weren't initially designed to work together.

i love android and seriously doubt i would ever jump ship but you have to give it to apple when it comes to hardware functionality and reliability.
