I will admit, I use an iTouch at home and since getting my Fascinate, I could not imagine using an iPhone fully. I already enjoy the interface of Android, the Samsung Swype feature and I am satisfied with the Gmail apps. There is no reason for me to jump ship so quickly to an iPhone if this does in fact happen. BB is dead in the water though. RIM should be pretty terrified.

I'm at work right now and can't take the time to read all the posts so if this is just a rehash of someone else's opinion, I'm sorry but I wanted to add that I couldn't care less if the Iphone comes to Verizon. I am sticking with android phones. I think this will be a bigger blow to AT&T than android. Most of the people that I know that are with At&T are only there for the Iphone.

What ppl need to worry about and Apple should do from a business perspective is offer the iPhone on Verizon AND AT&T.

And everyone worrying about the iPhone......dont sleep on Win Phone 7...cuz me personally I would look at that before the iPhone. Unless there was a totally redesign of the current iPhone: the outer shell, antenna, and have a removable battery.

And before some one mentions removable battery aint important: think about having a flashlight, a donut, spare tire for your car.....not needed in every day use but very valuable when u need them.

they do but its extremely rare. Nice thing about the iPhone even when they do freeze the power button still works.

the nice thing about the same company designing both the hardware and software they run very well. This is why all apple products work and function so well.

one of the main selling points of the iPhone and Android is to have a single device that does everything.

isn't the iPhone that is supposedly coming to VZW going to be the 5th Gen iPhone? Also, how funny is it going to be if they still can't view flash websites, and still can only play 1 video format (.mp4), only able to sync on 1 computer, etc. I hope that they at least step it up and fix a few minor things. LIKE FLASH.

I would not buy the iphone, I am an android user, and I like the open source, the freedom for you to costumize any software that comes with it, and the innovation it allows when there is no restrictions such as the ones in the Iphone.

If they were to enable flash, would you prefer an iPhone over your Android device? They have better games and better apps, and with Verizon they would no longer lose the "on a better network" argument. Just about all the best apps and best games on the iOS go free for a day which means you get to keep a really awesome app for free, forever so long as you download it on that day.

I like both and will likely have an iOS device and an Android device.
