Leak .242?

I have Rom Toolbox Pro but have never used it to back up apps. Does it backup/restore app data as well, or just the APK? Am I going to lose all my app settings, etc?

It'll backup your data, as well. It's similar to how TiBU works but IMO it works better. I don't mind TiBU but I've been using RTB quite a bit lately with no issues.

Are you a light, med or heavy user? My Screen is ALWAYS number one on the list even if I have it turned off for most of the day.Right now the phone has been running on a 100% charge for 25 minutes and is down to 90%. Screen shows at 77% of battery usage.

Sweet! I have to use my stock battery if i want a decent case, and it's been hard for me to adapt. Any special settings you use to increase battery life there, or apps you've frozen that help?

I have a ton of apps frozen. I suspect that helps quite a bit. Other than that, nothing special.

I'd love a list of recommendations, what you've found helpful to freeze. I've just been doing trial and error, and not even that since I've been on ICS.

I don't have time to put that together right now but I'll see if I can come up with a list once I do my factory reset as I'm doing it. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm finally getting interested in moving up from .232. I'm getting TONS of slow-downs and freezes when choosing menu items, etc. Can't seem to pin down the catalyst, but I've seen others complain about the same problems.

You might try one of the many custom roms. I was having same issue with stock 232. So I have flashed almost all of the current roms. My favorite is motoicsbean. Black hole rom, and liquid blur rom are close seconds. I have not experianced the lag problem at all while running any of these roms. And battery life has been phenomenal on motoicsbean.

One thing I am disappointed about is I'm still clocked at 1000Mhz, I had heard rumors that Moto was working to make sure everyone got 1200Mhz with the final build of ICS but I guess it's just not meant to be for some of us. Other than that .242 is great!!

If my does clock up to 1.2 after update Im probably going to under clock it back to 1.0. Thats fast enough for everything I do and it saves battery.
