Leak .242?

Once it OTA's we can all jump in the same boat together and see if we sink. :D

I hope it doesn't come to that. I'm a terrible swimmer and I don't have much time left on my warranty to help cover water damage.

I'm sure a lot of us don't. :D If 242 is OTA then we're good afaics. Seems to be quite the useful build. They just need to get a soak out there so we can get on with it and the griping about JB and whether we'll see it or not can begin. Hint...*I* will. :D

Hahaha...yeah, you'll see it, but not on a Bionic anytime soon!
Thanks for HOB and all your work.. you too Sargent and all involved in getting us up to speed!

And we're going to wait some more before we see an OTA. I was really hoping I'd log in today and see a "soak test for ICS has begun" thead. Instead I find this thread :(

Looks like my prediction back in February was true. Link in the sig if you want to see it...

They won't start a soak test over a holiday weekend. But let's hope we're near the finish line now.

Except that the finish line keeps moving. What was going to be a 100M dash is now a 2k-run. I'm worried it'll be a 10k before the finish line stops moving.

For this leak do we need to use the install .242 or reinstall .242 if we are currently on. 238?

lol im not sure how much clearer that can get.. sorry for calling you out but it made me giggle.

but *do not* try reinstalling any of the ICS leaks > 232 without this tool.

My connection problem started only a few days ago after almost a year with no issues. I was on 232 and fxz'd back to 905, and while my connection issues are less frequent on 905, they didn't go away. It makes me wonder if I now have a hardware problem rather than a software one.

I know the GB last patch (905) that they made in preparation for 4.0 actually made data worse for a lot of people. My brother still complains about it, but can't go to .232 because it's a work phone. He's jealous as I've had no LTE data issues and also enjoying ICS in advance of OTA
