AWESOME! Thanks for providing this for us! Followed the directions and everything worked like a charm! Menus (like the applications "shade" on the home screen) seem a lot smoother/snappier. And I like the new look of the Power Control and Music widgets. They seem to match the rest of the OS better.

I have an unknown baseband

I ran the update once and got everything except for the right baseband, then ran it again, and I lost all signal. I did a factory wipe and still no signal, cant do anything with it.

So far he is the only one this has happened to. Apparently his had issues applying the patch, and stopped partially the way through, i'm in the process of helping him resolve the issue.

Installed without a problem. But is it just me, or is reception worse compared to 2.0? My 3G signal is pretty bad (used to be 4 - full bars), and speeds are no where close to what it was before because now I only get 1 -2 bars.

Same thing happened to me.

Someone suggested that after the update you should update your PRL *228 and see if that helps out.

Just did that. Programmed and updated roaming capabilities. As of now, the 3G is fluctuating a bit, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Although I do have to say, it is raining and pretty windy outside. Potential network issue caused by the weather? I know when I was with AT&T, weather condition caused my signal to dip pretty bad.

i just installed it on mine and it works flawless. Its just faster and fixed the quirks the phone had before. :icon_ banana:

RINTIN was only talking about our droid counterpart the milestone. Which is the European version.

power off your phone. open the slide out keyboard. Press and hold the X button and along with power button is what i did and it worked.
