im having issues with my pic gallery.
i clicked the gallery icon and it said it wastn installed but i went into my menu and it worked, but now my pics wont go switch when i move my phone landscape
i have to open keyboard a little

By all means, if you have ANY inclination about installing it, please wait for the OTA update. I / forum staff, would never want you to do something or make you feel like you need to something, that you didn't want to do. Plus i'd hope any member wouldn't either. With the more of us that do the update manually should lessen the amount of time until you get your OTA update

I've been tempted all night but I seems wiser to wait a day or two rather than mess something up.

As I recall the reason they push these out slowly is to find issues - by getting it early people may be getting problems that might be resolved in a day.

i followed the step by step instruction on the other forum that someone posted and it works perfect things guys this is awesome

in the future make the instructions really clear and people want be so confused it took me about 15 minutes of reading the instructions on here to get an idea of what to do but all did was follow the step by step instructions on the othe forum it got it done in a totally of 3 minutes

its really like a whole new phone as far as performance is concerned, i cant believe how much more sluggish 2.0 really was, 2.0.1 is an incredible update

ok as far as i can tell...the first person to post that they got the update was 12/7/09 at 2:05 p.m. i read somewhere in this forum on that ALL droids will be updated ota within 48 hours...is this true? if so, i should receive the update sometime today by 2:00 p.m. right? i'm too scared to do the manual update because i'm not too bright about things like that but i'm DYING to get it!! can someone please confirm the 48 hour thing? i searched the verizonwireless site and could find nothing about the timeline. thanks!
