Missed Call for the Motorola Droid

This app is great, thanks!

Missed_call - you've responded to a few of the comments about why gmail notifications aren't accessible by your app, etc, but one of the things that a few people have asked for you haven't responded to...

Can you make it a setting so that you can choose whether to use the default Android notification tray? I'm just using Missed Call so that I can get repeated vibrates after a call or text until I notice it. I'd like to have the option to keep using the standard notifications tray and not have to disable it.

I have a couple of questions.

1) Is there a way to use the Missed Call notifications while using Chomp? I tried turning off the Chomp notifications but my phone didn't do anything to notify me of texts, even with Missed Call turned on.

2) What are the chances of getting voicemail notification with Missed Call?

I have been using this app on my android 2.0 OS and have had multiple FC on me. Hopefully an update will be out soon to resolve this.

Is anyone else having problems where Missed Call needs a forced close when using Google Nav? I get it several times when trying to get nav started.

1) It should be possible. At the moment I am waiting for my Android 2.x device in order to test all the features properly and get a non beta version out in 1-2 weeks

2) Chances are good I just need some users who would like to test the feature when it got implemented.

Regarding the force closes I will hunt them down when I got my Android 2.x device. On the emulator I haven't seen any force closes so far.

Thank you for your patience.

Rotating LED alerts

Missed_call, this is a great ap! Is there anyway to program it so that it will rotate through all of the alert LEDs instead of just displaying the most current one? For example, I have my missed calls blink red, text messages blink blue, calendar notifications blink aqua and gmail blink the default green. It would be really helpful if the LED would rotate between the colors when there are multiple alerts (ie, red and blue if I had missed a call and a text message). Thanks again for a great product!

I too am up for testing the voicemail functionality! I don't get the best signal at work some times so I will not even have a phone call and just see a voicemail pop up.

I've actually started using Handcent SMS so I've turned off SMS notification. I still do it for missed call, bluetooth, and battery.

I have not had any compatibility issues (I am running android 2.0.1 on a Motorola Droid).

Having the LEDs rotate to all the different notifications is a great idea! Assuming it can be done, I would REALLY like to see this feature as well!
Any news about getting the calendar service and LED color white to work well?

Otherwise I'm very happy with Missed Call, the application is great!

Needs to work with more events!

Great app - I love being able to customize the vibrate pattern, led color and led frequency. It does everything I want and works great, just not for enough events...

This app would be perfect if you added settings for Gmail, Voicemail, and GoogleTalk.

I'm using v.0.8.8 on my Eris and it seems to work well. Great program for sure. Can't wait to try a newer version once we get our 2.0/2.1+ update.

I like MissedCall and gave it a nice review in the market but as of today I uninstalled it for a bit, as yesterday I experienced an occasion where I missed a very important call but I didn't get a notification at all.

It's actually kind of wierd, and I'm not convinced it was MissedCall at all, but I will run without it for a few days to see if it happens again.

The call shows in my call log as incoming (the blue arrow), not as missed (with the v-looking red arrow). However, the call wasn't answered and the caller left a voicemail.

That said, +1 for keeping this app going once the resources and time are in place. I would definitely like to see the voicemail notification added, for the same reason mentioned, sometimes the phone isn't getting service and a call goes to voicemail.

Also, something I've seen in a few other apps is the ability to have the repeat notifications time out after a certain amount of time. So for example, the setting could be vibrate every 5 minutes for 1 hour. I would utilize something like this.

I will be a tester when the next version is available.

I would also like more information on what happens when the phone is charging, as I read in another thread on another forum that MissedCall doesn't work when the phone is charging. What happens exactly? Are there NO notifications? Has the issue been fixed?
