There was an issue with the build.prop in the new version. This is the same file from the older version.

i dont mean to be all poopy here, and im sorry if i offend anyone, but ive noticed that there are a lot of posts from people worried about loosing settings on programs and having to reinstall programs and such. ive resetup my droid about 25 times or so...and never did it take more than a half hour to get back to full functionality with all my apps installed.
i guess i just dont see why so many people worry about this stuff. its a half hour to an hour at most.
froyo with the black theme is running incredible on my droid. everything works beautifully, and i immediately switched my launcher to launcher pro...made a gigantic difference. the 3d launcher just seems to eat cpu and battery. launcherpro is so fast it makes me wonder why anyone would even want to have the other launcher..unless you have a home replacement or you love home++ or something.
sprecovery installs and updates went perfectly, no boot cycles...team chaos's boot animation is friggin sweet, flash runs perfectly and whoever put up the trick to make your browser function as if it were a desktop browser...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, been looking for that for a while now.
does anyone know were i might find more froyo themes.. maybe some for metamorph? i would love to be able to put a black skin on the google search bar.

Ok so you are running the clean black theme and everything is working? Does this include the market being able to install apps and update?

If you know someone that has a PC, maybe ask them if you can do this on there system, or root your phone
That's OK hook. When my dad had his second mid-life crisis he bought a Corvette. The only time it saw the far side of 70 was when my brother or I drove it. It still looked good in the driveway. Froyo at 1Ghz looks pretty good in a signature too!

Have to say, I an also. Put up the new Froyo this morning, added the clean black (still waiting for Black ICE) and all in fine. No problems with market, MAPS gave me directions into downtown Boston, Skymap showed me the sky, phone was answered and used to call out. All with no problem.
Guess we just have SUPER Droids!
BW does this remind you of the Win Mo days when we would get three leaked versions in 1 day!!!!
