More Froyo

Last time to bother hopefully.

I dl'd the "more Froyo" file. I go to

"Extract the zip contents to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup. "

But I don't have that on my sdcard. I only have "clockworkmod/download"

Have you backed up with ClockWork before? It should have created the folder if you did. If not just create that folder on your SDCard and it should work fine. :)

Is apps2sd supported on this froyo 2.2?

That is something I really need since I have so many apps.

yes but it depends on the developer of the app. so far the only 2 apps i can move to my sd card are root explorer and set cpu which i dont feel comfortable with running set cpu from my sd card id rather it be on my phone memory.

and the stock kernel that came with this build over at droid life is actually the android kernel but it can be overclocked to 800 can anyone rip that kernel out of the build id like to try that one. Im currently running a p3 at 1ghz(at 800mhz) and temps are a little higher then im use to.
Id like to see if they may cool down some with the stock kernelt from dls release

Is there any difference in battery usage, heat, or performance between using an 800 kernel and a 1000 kernel governed to 800 by SetCPU?

I'm thinking that I'll probably be fine with 800, but why limit myself to an 800 kernel if a 1000 kernel set to 800 is no different? The 1000 kernel would give me the option of going faster on the fly if I wanted to for a specific purpose.

I still dont seem to be able to get adb to work while the phone is on (meanign running, I can use adb in recovery) can anyoen else confirm?
And i do have the 2.2 sdk files/tools

I need a quick refresher course on Set CPU.

I put it on userspace if I remember right correct? Anymore advice?

There is only a difference if the Kernel maker used different voltage settings. P3Droid is known for being consistent across frequencies. So I believe the answer is, there will be no difference.

Other than that there really isn't an issue because P3Droids current kernels are 7 slots. If he did only 5 slots, I would recommend using a 800Mhz top end kernel for better throttle & battery life.
