Anyone have a solution to the horrid battery life with froyo? Mine goes dead just sitting idle withing a few hrs?:icon_evil:

I'm using a Chevy kernel with mine set to 550MHz Max and Min 250.
I haven't updated the baseband and it's been 1d 0h 26m.
I still have 60% battery life left.

Yeah I noticed that my :motdroidhoriz: seems to prefer the chevy kernels over the P3 with respect to battery life. I appreciate both dev's work because I couldn't do what they do, but chevy is where it's at.

I'm hearing a lot about these basebands. Is there a guide around here somewhere? Its seems like I remember reading that they must Bea installed in a certain order?

profiles help, I too notice battery life is worse then what I had on CM 5071.
but its worth it

Just do an update.zip SPRecovery with that. It'll update you to the latest one, but if you're already running a Froyo ROM you probably have it.

Does your baseband read C_01.43.01P? If so, you're good.

Mine reads c 01.3e.03p so I guess I should probably update.

More than welcome. Keep an eye on your battery as some users have reported a decrease in battery life. I'm running 2.1 (until tonight -- a month is longer than I wanted to wait and I trust Miami's information) at the moment and it had no impact on mine, but YMMV.

I honestly thought that baseband was FROM FRF57.

Has anyone tried using Bluetooth voice dialing in any of the 2.2 roms to see if this is working yet?

Yes, Froyo 2.2 Bluetooth voice dialing does indeed work. Tried and tested it myself.

I've never had an issue with it, but since it uses the phones voice search I can imagine there may be issues.

Put it this way. It didn't work at all before 2.2.
