Motorola Droid Bionic Release Date?

Ok so people keep saying the Bionic will be released at the end of the Q2. So is this fiscal year breakdown I found on wikipedia just for businesses or does this apply for all U.S fiscal year measurements? If so the end of Q2 is March, not June which is Q3.

• 1st Quarter: October 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010
• 2nd Quarter: January 1, 2011 - March 31, 2011
• 3rd Quarter: April 1, 2011 - June 30, 2011
• 4th Quarter: July 1, 2011 - September 30, 2011

No, 1st quarter means Jan thru March and so fourth.

Fiscal year measurements are different/for budgetary purposes.

When a company says a product will release in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th quarter of 2011... they mean that literally - split the year into 4 quarters and you'll get the correct breakdown:

Q1: January 1 - March 31
Q2: April 1 - June 30
Q3: July 1 - September 30
Q4: October 1 - December 31

I've heard "Early Q2" many times so I'm guessing the Bionic gets revealed sometime next month. Maybe exactly a month or so after the Thunderbolt is released and the thrill of the "first 4G phone" is gone. Bottom line, VZW is going to want to pile on the amount of LTE phones in their lineup once the excitement of the Thunderbolt being the first one is over.

Thank u guys 2.Ive been waiting 4 this phone 2 hear when it mite release,just left att playing with atrix,trying to get a sense of how blur works.But ill do what ive read a lot of peiple r going 2 do,which is dload launcher pro.Comeing from blkberry tour,2 me blur wasnt that bad,but remember im comeing from a tour so anything is xciting 2 me now.LOL!!!!That dual core,screen res and camera is nice and htc is trying 2 get me with that surprise they r talking about,but dont worry-im faitful 2 u Bionic!!!Just plz come out n early april and ill b :icon_ banana:

Idc when it comes out...i will get it..Locked bootloader or not..the EVO 2 I mean thunderbolt just doesnt impress me at all

Don't know whether to get thunderbolt or bionic or if something better is coming. Don't want to waste my ne2 on something but then again I could always sell my thunderbolt or whatever and go back to my droid and get what I want. That's what is good about EBAY. You can get MARKET value for your phone.

I think I might just lose my mind. I am up for upgrade on Feb 1 and I have dreamed about running over this blackberry storm with a truck for the last two years... And now Verizon has to do this to me???? Tell me people. What should I do? I want a DX now to hold me over but I don't want to break myself when the bionic hits... whenever it does. What should I do?!?!?!?!?!

Feel the same as you codye91... I almost bought the DX last night but the sales associate talked me out of it. She was pushing the TB but I think I will wait for the DB.

Then run over my storm with a truck... Ha Ha

Same boat, got talked out of a DX last week by the associate since I am able to early upgrade. She didn't push the TB at all but was talking big about the DB. I am really on the fence atm with the DB and the LG Revo.

PS. I also would like to run my Storm 2 over or throw it off a high building LOL
