Mysterious Device Now With November 23 Launch date

Okay I spoke with my Verizon insider today and he told me that they usually do not get any news in the stores or on the phone until a week before launch. The only phones that they have announced in house to most employees, are the Droid Pro, Droid 2 World and a Samsung Epic for Verizon. With that being said there has not been any information leaked on the HD Inc and if it is launching on the 23rd, expect news from Verizon at the latest on November 16th.

Hopefully Miami can tell us something before then........

My guess is it'll come December 2nd with the new Sense 2.5 and Bing.

We need the Droid Pro, Droid 2 Global and Merge to hurry up and all be out there and official. I know the Pro was this morning. Outside of these devices and the continuum, I don't think there are any other hig end Android phones cming out other than the DINC HD -- assuming the 3G version exists. If it doesn't, Verizon better hope for some trick up their sleeve cause there holiday line up would be disappointing.

Miami already said 50 pages back that if it is a DROID branded phone, NO BING.

I was referring to the HTC Merge- thats the device he asked about. Its been pretty quiet concerning that device, especially when it was said to launch November 11th. So I assumed it would gain the newer Sense and already confirmed with Bing. Sorry for the confusion.

Look for that this week maybe...and eh Epic is a nice device as I am sure the merge will be too.... I would have gotten that one if it were a 4" screen... I believe it's 3.7 or 3.8 I keep forgetting

There will be differences in RAM and Internal memory that favor the HTC DINC HD as well as the build quality. For how impressive the phone is - go to Youtube and search for HTC Desire HD (essentially the phone that we are getting) and see how responsive it is. The screen transitions, kinetic scrolling, maps and internet searches are lighting fast. No lag like in the stock DX Motoblur.

The HTC just comes off as a more polished device in both hardware and software.

You might want to add that this will have the same aspect ratio as the evo unlike the droid x's 16:9. I prefer the evo's, but for someone that is always watching videos.....the droid x's screen aspect ratio might be better.

My bad I thoiught it was on the HD...as far as the merge goes. I stiopped paying attention to it so I didn't know it had bing.... but I did know it wasn'tr a Droid so I am not shocked to see Bing re appear

I like to give devices shorter, cooler names - Like the Motorola Droid Pro I named the MoDroPro and if we ever get a Super Phone it can be the MoSuPho or MoSuDro the upcoming (maybe maybe not) iPhone I have pinned as the VeriPhone and we all already know the Droid Incredible as the Dinc - So in case no one has done it yet the Droid Incredible HD can be shortened to the HDinc :wink:
