It's just funny miami post something at night everyone is cool then in the am it turns into is not happening, he's wrong, etc just funny watching this everyday

True - I just think that with so many possible days given for pictures/specs/confirmation - with each sunrise we face the issue of dissapointment. Miami originally told us pictures would be coming weeks ago...but most recently after it seemed he had talked to the Verizon guys and things were good to go he said Monday at the earliest but most likely Tuesday or Wednesday...so this was the most likely day to see something and yet nothing.

Miami evidently knew something yesterday when he posted about the pre-order date of the 12th...I just wish we could get official confirmation and some pictures!!!!

This just means the phone had European GSM bands only.

Hopefully Miami will be able to share something today and shed some light on the device, the lack of FCC information and when it will actually go on sale. I did call Verizon last night and they said that the only HTC device they have pending in their system to order is the Merge. They have nothing on anything else - this was from both calling *611 and the local corporate store.

Oddly enough the Desire HD made it through the FCC without US 3G bands, not sure what this means....

I was told yesterday, on the phone by a rep that pre-orders start Friday for the DInc HD.... however found I because of some technicalities with my billing, I could not upgrade until Jan.

Wrote a letter via Verizon's website... my upgrade date has been changed to make me eligible for my upgrade as of Friday the 12th, so that I can pre-order the NEW Droid Incredible... so the E-mail says

I'm hoping it all pans out as well.... don't see how I got lucky enough to speak with two people who have a clue... or at least an idea of what's coming.

*fingers crossed. toes would be too but dang that's difficult!*

Two people who knew about it and an email referencing it? Could it be? That is a lot of evidence that someone besides Miami knows about this. Care to share the email?

I'm going to give the rep who responded to my E-mail a call to confirm... then I'll see where I'm at.

I don't wanna be responsible for any misinformation. I wanna make sure the ducks are all in a row... ya know ?

I Keep saying...Miami is at the mercy of VZW. I believe he was told by strong sources about Friday...but I also believe that since there is no public information about it VZW could easily change that date.

If anyone is going to be upset at anyone...it needs to be VZW...not Miami. That said - I really hope the 12th is the real date.

I bet you told them your screen name and what sites you moderate, and they caved It must be nice.

There is a fourth line on my account which is available for an upgrade, and I am going to use that for the Incredible HD and sell my Droid X on here or eBay for $250.

Why can't we all just be happy to know that as of now we will be able to pre-order the phone on the 12th? If for some reason it doesn't appear on Verizon’s web site, than i can see why some of you will be so negative. But till we hear different from Miami, the 12th is still on.

I do want this phone if the rumored specs are true. However, all this is rumor until we have concrete evidence. To this point, all is conjecture until pictures and documentation is posted here or in a store. I seriously want this phone on this network. I won't, however, preorder something without knowing exactly what I am getting.
I work hard to have what I do. Without evidence... Well, then this is simply an epic thread with a bunch of cool folks in it.

Exactly, the FCC is just the US and thats all im trying to understand, im not saying this confirms anything....just a bit curious about it.
