So ugh Miami. Should i take tuesday the 23rd off of work?

Why would you take a day off work? Just go pick it up at lunch. I know its a new phone but it is still a phone and your already using a phone with Froyo on it. It's not like your experiencing a whole new operating system.

Are you kidding me I am taking the whole week off!!!!!!!!! Just kidding, but will probably pick it up that morning or pre-order it if possible and have it delivered

for instance is the droid global a dual because its 1.2ghz?

Lol, what? A dual core chip implies that there are two physical cores on the die. Speed has nothing to do with it.

i was merely asking if there is a single core surpassing 1.0 ghz i should of worded it better i guess.. not talking about overclocking, my droid is clocked at 1.2 ghz..

i dont think we will ever see the scorpion.. i think that name came from the processor as a code name.. we just wont see the 1.5 that was promised with it

What are you referring to?

The CPU that is in the phone in question(dinc HD) is called the Scorpion by Qualcomm. It is *capable* of speeds of 1.5ghz but will be clocked 1ghz for release of this phone most likely. With the increased ram of 768mb it doesnt neet to be any faster.

Reason #1. D1, DX, D2 and the Inc all sold out release day. Even with 3 Verizon stores around me. #2. I work with the government. It takes a good 10 min just to get threw security. So I couldn’t leave on my lunch break. Look, I’m not saying this is going to be a stand in line iPhone. But I rather get it on release day like i did for my Droid than wait almost a month like my wife did for her dx to be delivered.

Would be nice if it were dualcore but I don't expect to see that until spring next year. I understand all the talk that dualcore will be more efficient than single core but the way I look at it is is a 200hp i4 more efficient than a 400 hp v8 plain and simple instructions need to see it with my own eyes. Still want this to just hope it's not bloat tastic
