New baseband too??

haha, my "Pregnant Mule" is a 4-wheeler. Our driveway is a quarter mile uphill, I swear we live on the only "mountain" in East Texas!
Since I patched this, I've had to restart my phone twice while in a text conversation. Texts stopped sending/receiving, and couldn't make calls. Reboot phone everything is fine for a while. Gonna see if it does it again, then try to *228 it again, but a little worried as of now...
No worries bwwhite. You can always flash the current baseband. 03p if this one is causing issues.

After installing the Baseband file via Clockworks i now HAVE a triangle where the3G symbol should be and now it says my phone has no internet connection when i try to use data. Anyone know how this can be fixed?

Never asked me to activate the phone. Also i used Clockworks mod and i choose install from SD card and i selected the file myself. Should i have named it update.zip and use the run update.zip file from sd card instead? Thought it was the same, correct me if i'm wrong. I will try that now see what happens.
Just dial *22899
Your phone will reprogram, should be good after that...
** I say this, but am having difficulty getting 3g services to work on my phone now...

movadoevo8 open up the phone app and dial *22899 and let it do its thing, should activate the phone and correct your issue.

LOL i restarted the phone again this time i got the asked me to activate my phone doing it as we speak, see what happens. Thanks so much guys for all your help! You guys are amazing, I love the Droid community and love this forums!

My impression of the new baseband:
3G signal strength is excellent! MUCH better than the 0EP one, without a doubt.

Okay, I've installed the new baseband even though I'm still running a 2.1 version of Bugless Beast.
The install went fine although I did run into problems with reactivation. I was doing it late last night and from what I gather Verizon was doing some maintenance at the same time that interfered with activation. When I got up this morning activation went fine.
First impressions:
Wifi is definitely better. I've got a room in my house in which I've always had trouble maintaining connection to my router. The connection was rock solid after the update although it still showed as fairly weak. Only one line above the dot in the wifi icon.
3G might be better. Hard to tell for sure. It seems more stable but I wasn't having that much trouble with it before. I'll know more after I go down to the local card room this Wednesday. I always have trouble maintaining a 3G connection there.
