Huh, not for me. Someone sent me a simple jpeg that opens fine from outlook, but on the droid I get the little blue question mark or I get "connection error". Yet another problem. My Exchange email will now allow attachments to be opened! Woohoo! That saved me returning this thing.
Ditto for me. I am a heavy Exchange email user and had the same problem. Thanks for posting: I didn't think to check. It's working on mine now also. :icon_ banana:
I am pretty sure that updates are not done by area. Every phone can be identified on the network. It would likely sense any phone that wasn't updated and initiate the OTA.
wouldn't you just go to settings>about phone>system updates?
In this case - no. Because they are controlling the roll-out. But sooner or later if you didn't do a manual update it would force the OTA. I wouldn't worry about it. Suspect that most folks haven't seen the update yet - I haven't. It will show up. And then you will be disappointed because it won't be any big deal and now you will have to find a new affair to get excited about.
you guys can download the file from the droid news forum on this site. It takes literally 5 minutes to update.
