New Gameloft 3D Games!

Yeah, I did email them.. No response yet, but like you say.. Mem. weekend. I was looking at the Gameloft FAQ's, and I read it can take up to 24 hrs to get your game sent to your phone. What's the longest it's taken any of you?

I bought my games by going to gameloft's website on my phone. After entering my credit card info it gave me a link to download the apk's directly in the web browser. 0 wait time.

There is only one way to deal with a company like Gameloft...

Arrrrrrrrrrrrghh Maties!

+7! hahaha soooo true, but people keep getting at me on it. They don't understand.

So moe' rum fo' yeee!!!

Brother, I believe it's you that doesn't understand.

We're not coming down on you necessarily because we think you are wrong - the issue is that discussing or even hinting at piracy could potentially cause the site some legal issues if things got out of hand.

And regardiing your Apps2SD question, the easiest way I know to use it is to install a Cyanogenmod ROM - use ROM manager to partition the SD card; and click the checkbox in the Applications settings menu.

I am using a 512MB Apps2SD partition, have around 10-15 large games installed; and a bunch of small games/apps. I still have 121MB free on my Apps2SD partition, and another 167MB left on my phone.
You get on me again but not the other guy who hinted?
He made a funny post, that's all. These few posts won't cause anything legally for anyone..lol don't worry.

But thank you for the answer, wish BB would have it.

hairdewx.. Yeah, my first purchase had 0 wait time as well. I wonder if you have to purchase the games from your phone? I don't remember how I purchased the first game I bought (laptop or phone) but I purchased the second from my laptop. Hmmm...

For the record:
I didn't receive a game I purchased from Gameloft. I emailed them, they quickly responded (over a holiday weekend even!) and helped me. I now have the game, and am 100% satisfied. Thank you Gameloft. So far, my experience with you has been wonderful.

I have bought a few games and have had no problem. I just got hero od sparta and after a reinstall of the game it is now saying this is not a origanal copy. I had not had the game a day and I ran into this problem. Any ideas what's wrong?

Try uninstalling it. Then turn airplane mode on. Install it and when it asks to download additional data and to turn wifi on hit yes then it should download and work fine. Happened to me with that Nova game.

It's the copyprotection. They make it so you can download it once, and install it once on one handset. Totally BS if you ask me.

When a customer purchases a game from Gameloft, that entitles them to one download of the game to one phone number and one phone model only. If a user switches phones, removes the game, or performs a firmware upgrade that requires a wipe, then they will have to buy the game again. Considering Gameloft’s titles are priced on the high-side of Android games ($6.99), it is disappointing that this only gets users a single download.

I'm interested in some of their games, but I want to know first, which of their games have keyboard support? Dungeon Hunter looks the most interesting to me, but without KB support I dont think I would like it that much on my Milestone.

welcome to our nice community :)

dungeon hunters is an action roleplay game. you cant control an arpg good with keyboard controls. you have to click on the screen and the charakter is walking to this point. all action rpgs are controlled with the mouse on the pc and touchscreen controls are very similar to mouse controls. so a dpad support would make no sense here. asphalt 5 is the only game from gameloft actually which supports dpad controls.

Thanks for your answer!
But in the screenshots I see a virtual dpad, and onscreen buttons..
Also, assassin's creed seems like it could use a keyboard.
Weird how they implemented kb controls for the racing game, which seems to need it the least :p

asphalt 5 was released some time before the actual game wave from gameloft. and its the only gameloft highend game in the android market sadly. all other games from them you have to buy on their website. yes you can use virtual dpad in dungeon hunter, but you can also change the controls for just clicking on the screen, which plays much much better in my opinion. well many of us would like to see dpad controls. would be a good combination dpad and touch in first person shooters like nova and sandstorm. also the action games like assassins creed would be good with it.

Ugh.. Just when I thought everything was finally cool with the games I purchased from gameloft, more problems. Dungeon Hunter... At first, it was force closing all the time.. everytime I opened it. Then, a day or 2 later, it seemed to work fine. I fell in love with it. I love these type of games. But now, it's closing in the middle of game play.. right out of the blue... no force close, just closing. And when it is working, it's dragging/lagging real bad. It's almost unplayable even when it is working. Anyway, very disappointed..
