One more time: I would be extremely surprised if the leak is not the exact same as the update; but, that said, IT'S NOT OFFICIAL, YET!! Having to actually define "official" was mainly directed at those who were upset that Verizon wouldn't roll the update out to them, but now it applies to you. The word actually has meaning. For serious.

Oh, and for the record, I completely trust you and I completely believe that the update package you leaked will be the official update . . . once the update is official.

Wow my 4G definitely improved. It used to be spotty in my house, maybe because of my high roof or something, but I haven't lost it yet...

Not Soak, just did the ask in about phone, checking for updates, and it said it was available.

Download and phone update complete, got me worried cause my battery was low and forgot to put it on the charger but I'm good to go and rerooting using voodoo root keep worked and am rooted again :-D

Just got mine as well. Ive been manually checking the last few days and about an hour ago it said there is an update and I did not receive an email from Motorola about a soak or anything. I just installed it as I have been anxiously awaiting but holding off. I had safestrap installed as well but I never really did anything with it except make a backup and before that I had bootstrap on. So Ive been worried about possibly not being able to install but I was able to but the install was a slow process, I think it took longer to install than download but I was on wifi to download. The install took about 15 min. AWESOME! I did unroot with rootkeeper and re rooted after it booted back up and worked great! DancingNexus:icon_ banana:dancedroid:hail::blink::icon_ lala:

Anyone know if you have to unfreeze bloat to see if the update is available? (when it becomes available) I know you can't install it with bloat removed, but can you download it?

My bloat is is still frozen and the update is downloading now. And I am not a soak tester.

You need to unfreeze b4 the actual unpacking of the download begins, if you have tb go to batch option and UN freeze all frozen apps, plus use voodoo rootkeeper to protect your root

Just got the "official" update from Verizon, it is here.

Living on the razr's edge, "strop" aside.

Doesn't take long to find a glitch. Won't return to home screen, just blinks and stays on phone screen or whatever screen you were on.

Someone needs to take a "strop" to them.

No lock was the culprit, cycled it one time and can get back to home screen fine.

Honed just fine, no need to "strop" it.
