New OTA Update Downloading......

Wait all you like. If you think some "guy" produced Motorola-signed packaged then you live in some kind of whacked out version of reality. I get people not trusting any update not delivered directly to their phone yet. Believe me I do. But the soak and my leak are the same exact file, both signed by Motorola. There is a huge error in 173 which is the force closed when hitting search in the app drawer. This has been fixed in a small patch 174 and 175. Motorola wouldn't bother making them off of 173 update if it wasn't already going through the official process.

Unless you can see more into Motorola's servers than I can, I'd like to see you find a more "official" 173.

One more time: I would be extremely surprised if the leak is not the exact same as the update; but, that said, IT'S NOT OFFICIAL, YET!! Having to actually define "official" was mainly directed at those who were upset that Verizon wouldn't roll the update out to them, but now it applies to you. The word actually has meaning. For serious.

Oh, and for the record, I completely trust you and I completely believe that the update package you leaked will be the official update . . . once the update is official.

So I asked a person are Verizon, how they decide who gets the update and when... I was told that Google handles that and that they determine when you receive the update by the date of your activation SUPPOSEDLY. How accurate this is IDK???I figured I'd throw that in... based on my question of who decides and how on roll outs... back to your discussions lol
