Just pulled the official update

Some changes I noticed so far:

New colorful icons in settings, sms, etc.

More options in smart actions, like the ability to trigger actions from different docks. (Home, Car, HD, etc)

Bedside dock mode has screen saver type random repositioning of the displayed time and fades in and out.

Not sure if this is new, but just noticed that the camera now makes a quiet tone after the focus locks as you point it at different things. This may have been there before but I didn't notice before.

Havent seen the car dock changes mentioned, can't find cardock in apps? Will have to wait till I put it in the car dock tomorrow.

So far, all is good and everything seems comepletely stable.

I just installed OTA. I wasn't rooted. In order to root will I have to fastboot back to .748, root, use "root keeper" and then take .173 update again?

It would seem that the Bangladesh Tech Support Division of Motorola was correct when he told me the Initial Testing was over and that all Razrs would be updated by the 13th of Feb to all that have the Official Update ( If indeed its the "Official" version LOL) lets crack it open and lets see whats in the box.

Works well for me, no 4G here so I wasn't missing that functionality anyway. Root Keeper restored root like it was a cake walk...glad I read into it before updating.

Quick question: I'm rooted, but the only change I made was to use SQlite and enable wireless tether. I did not freeze any apps, and I have not made any backups. Is there anything I should know, or do before updating? I honestly don't care if I lose root, so long as I keep wireless tether. Until we have an unlocked bootloader and custom ROMs I don't have any other purpose for root.

Sorry if this was previously asked but this thread exploded in the past 24 hours.

I'm rooted and would like to try to keep root, my (?) Is I have Voodoo rootkeeper on my phone not sure what to do next. Anybody know what I do next? Please help thanks in advance!
