New Unlimited Plan from Big Red?

Ditto here. I've got two phones one year into a two year contract. Currently paying $243 total for unlimited everything. They did not charge me a termination fee on the first contract. I hate doing math in public, so won't know exactly how much I'll save under the new plan, but I'm guessing I can buy two or three cases of beer a month with the savings.

I just got off the phone with Verizon and got the deal. I had the same plan now I'll be getting a $20 credit on each bill. I spent less time of the phone with the rep then the wait because all representatives were busy. She approved with no questions asked.

BTW, the 450 minute single line plan under this promotion does NOT qualify for friends & family. I just tried and the website said that my plan doesn't qualify.

I also asked how long this pricing would stick and she told me until I change my rate plan.

Call back to that 877# and ask them about, its part of the "package". I got it w/ the plan and have already set it up.

Mine says 59.99. I was 39.99, 30.00 for data, and there is a 20.00 credit for data and unlimited texting. Put it all together and it comes out to 69.99 per month.

Just called and got the switch on my first attempt. Exact same plan + the any 5 "friends and family" deal for $20/mo less than what I've been paying dancedroid. And because I still had a year left on my contract, it didn't change anything there. Thanks, Verizon! And you guys for pointing this promo out to me.

I got it the first try too the other day. Just waiting to see which phone my husband wants to upgrade too and it will save me lots!

Thanks for the heads up on this! Now even my son can it turned on at least on his feature phone. I had it turned off because I did not think he needed it at the time and to expensive, now he can, since it is unlimited!!

I told him I was reading about the new unlimited plan and wanted to see if it would save me money. He did the math and found I would save six dollars a month. I got the reps name, number, and extension in case I had any more questions later. I don't want to post it here, but next person to pm me gets the number and extension.

Just called once again, and once again got denied by rep Roxanne. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Charlie spoke to me, was polite, took my concern seriously, but at the end of it all, no matter what, there was no way I can be allowed to participate in this promo plan, and he reiterated that it was only for those who received the email.

Guess luck just ain't on my side this time, lol.

As a former VZW rep, I can tell you those threats of leaving are taken lightly, especially when you would have ETF looming.
