New Unlimited Plan from Big Red?

Can anyone tell me how much this would be for 7 people on a family share plan?

The plan we currently have is for 6 DUMBPHONES, and 1 SMARTPHONE.

Also, would I be able to get maybe 2100 minutes instead of the 1400 minutes for this plan?

How did you get 7 lines on one plan? I was told I could only have 5, but I need 6 now, and 7 when my daughter gets a little older.

They have a 2000 minute option for $10 more a month. 5 is the limit unless you know something we don't. 1st two lines will be $149.99 (2000 minutes) plus $19.99 for each additional.

You can only have give lines per account LEVEL. Ever notice you're account number always ends in -00001? Well you can have a -00002 and so on... They don't like to have more than five lines on one account, but you can do it.

Im from North Dakota and I was able to get this plan on my account after calling the number on the flyer.

I had to call twice to finally get it put on. I said both times that I received an email about this plan and would like to get it on my account. The first rep said he had no record of the email being sent to me. So in order for them to verify that I received it, he said I would have to either print out the email and bring it into a corporate store or call the store and forward the email to the rep that I speak with. I tried to see if I could email it to him but he said no. So I said I would call the store but the rep there had no idea about this promtional plan.

So I waited about 6-7 hours then called the number again. This rep said there was no record of the email being sent to me. I told her I just joined Verizon this month and received the email a few days after
I started my plan. She said since i have a new account that could be why they don't have any record of them sending me the email. She told me that she would honor my request since I told her I received the email.

I never actually received the email but I did make myself a replica with my name and number on it just in case I needed to print it out and bring it in.

I told a couple of my friends to call in and ask to get the talk and text plus data promtion. I will let you know of their success or failure after they call.

I got on this plan.. and even Replaceing an Envy3 with a 3rd Smart droid..My Bill is less..with more options.. I went from 2 Droids with unlimited Text and internet .and an Envy..at $161.. this bill looks to be under 150 with my 15% discount on my line.
 
All of your lines must be unlimited data for it to work. Even if you upgrade the other two lines, you'd still probably save money. You are paying 60 for two lines. You'd get data for four lines for 40.

They wont give me anything. Says all 4 of my lines have to be data. Only 2 of 4 are now. The inconsistency is mind boggling.

But that makes sense…..how could they give you a data discount on 2 phones that you have on the same plan that doesn't have data? This plan doesn't say anything about including phones that don't have data service.

Not the case for me. The rep I had WOULD NOT put it on the two of my lines with no data, only the two with data.
 
When I got the promo, we had two Droids and 3 "feature phones" . All phones got charged 29.99 for either "Unlimited Data for Smartphone" or "Unlimited Data for Feature Phone" and then the $20 discount applied. None of the feature phone had sata before I called.
 
I tried the number on the flyer this morning and got no results without an email, then tried *611 asked for promotions and had no problem. It's only saving me about $20 monthly, but unlimited text and data for all lines. I have 4. I also was able to keep my 20% corp. discount and they confirmed that the promotion will stay on the lines for longer than the contract period. Anyone having trouble, I suggest trying the *611.
 
Just thought I'd post my experience as I did this last night as well. For those that don't want the gory details it worked but it took close to 45 minutes and several phone calls, but it reduced my bill from 175 with one line of data on a family plan to 159 and three lines with data. I think it was worth it.

And now for the details. At first I went to Best Buy since I had some other business to take care of there and was told not only did they not know anything about that plan, they also couldn't sell me a droid 2 OR a droid 2 global. Their management told them earlier in the day not to sell them any more and they didn't explain why. I finished up my other business and went to the verizon retailer near my house.

First off I asked if they even offered either of the D2 models. They said they sold them and they weren't quite sure why BB wouldn't sell them. I then asked if they would honor the deal online with buy on get one free and they agreed to that. So while they checked their stock I asked about the plan. I showed them the print out and also had the link pulled up on my phone for authenticity sake.

The guy I was dealing with was so new his name tag still said "New Hire" so he wasn't sure what to do. The young lady there finished with her customer after a few minutes and came to assist. She didn't know anything about the plan either so she called another store to ask about it. They didn't know anything and talked about it for a few minutes trying to figure out the math... It just didn't add up. I mentioned then that I wasn't sure about it either so I did some research and found that a lot of other people had trouble and some suggested *611.

So she calls them and they spend another ten or fifteen minutes talking about it but still can't figure it out. Customer service was savvy enough to ask if I had the email handy so I told em it was on my home account and I didn't have access to that. I had just used Chrome to Phone to send the link to my phone. They didn't know what to do so they gave up again.

I should mention that the girl asked both of the other reps at this point about the phone number on the promo and asked if they wanted to call it. Since neither of them did she finally decided to do it herself. She told the rep that she was "indirect" and assisting a customer who brought in this promo. They quickly looked up the account and said we were eligible but I had to drop corporate email access and add data to our third line. After getting the total cost and confirming it was cheaper we went ahead with the deal. It took about 5 more minutes and we were done.

I have to say this has been one of the better VZW experiences. Not only were they willing to honor the bogo deal they would have done it with Droid X's if we wanted those. Since I already had the D1 and many of the accessories I wasn't interested in going through the process of buying more car mounts and cradles when the stuff I have works nearly flawlessly with the newer phones.
 
Strike 1! Called 877 873 3278 and told rep I received an email to which she replied "no you didn't". She said all promos emailed are noted on accounts. She added that all the reps know about a "blog" regarding this plan and without the email it wont be honored. She also said that since I already receive a discount through my employer, I wont be eligible for any further discounts.
