New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

Just ordered online - saying 8/19.

I called and confirmed though that I can cancel before it gets here without any penalty or restocking fee. So, figure might as well take the chance and see what happens.

okay I am getting a little nervous, I ordered my DX last tuesday, they said it would ship by the 3rd (which is today) I keep checking my order number online and it says it has no record of it...uh-oh. I called yesterday and they said the order shows pending, but dosent have a tracking number...I thought for sure I would have seen more movement then this...seems like it might not ship out today.

edit:update....will be here tommorow!!!!!!! cant wait!

I ordered mine the evening of 7/28 and saw on the website in would ship by 8/3. I just received my shipping notification this morning and will have it tomorrow. Hope everybody get theirs real soon.

I ordered my DX on the 29th, and I have no idea if I will ever receive a shipping number because I did it in store. On the website, it says the 18th, so what does that mean, i will be getting it later now? Or is that for older orders? I was told it should be shipped out for me on the 4th and receive no later than the 7th or 8th.

If you were told that it would be shipped out on the 4th then hopefully you will get the notification tomorrow.

those last too points are a tad bit upsetting. yeah I said that I can wait, but when I hear of people ordering after, and possibly getting them before I do...RAGE!!!

I will just keep on reading this thread and shed a little tear with each post.

Not sure, but I think it may have been the multiple calls that got the ball rolling for me... I wasn't complaining or anything just checking.. then again, it could just be random... but it wouldn't hurt to call and check...

Nah be better just to let it do the update as soon as activated I would think.....only took me 5 minutes to put Froyo on my Droid 1 lol

Ordered my DX on the 30th and it was to ship on the 5th, but luckily I woke up to a nice email yesterday, stating that it had shipped, on the 2nd and i'll be receiving it tomorrow on the 4th.

Now i can finally rid myself of my blackberry storm 9530, which has given me nothing but problems over the past 6 months...

Finally got my e-mail with my tracking info. Fedex says I should have the phone by 7pm on thursday. I'm hoping it'll be a little before 7 since I have the day off from work and would like to spend the day messing around with it.

But either way I'm happy to know that I'll be getting it before the end of the week.
