New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

my mom called last night and they said it would ship

Did not get any accessories with the phone. That seems to slow some orders down.

When I bought mine in the store the guy told me that because I did that I'd get 25% off any accessories I bought in the store so that seemed like a good plan, but I figured I'd just get he phone first and then see what I need.

I ordered mine through customer service 611 and only ordered the phone... no accessories. I hope that means i will get it before Sept 2nd.

Got my Droid X today (delivered 2 minutes from FedEx posted 3pm deliver by time). Anyhow, so far I noticed it has the speaker noise but only when the volume is set to max, so I can live with it. Curious to hear how the other recent deliveries are turning out.

Ordered just the phone, no accessories. My phone is coming from West Chester, PA - seems to me that a lot of people in the Philadelphia area are getting their phones now, maybe that has something to do with my stroke of luck.

FedEx says it's on the truck for local delivery in Fort Washington, which is about 20 minutes from here. However it also says it's still on time for tomorrow.

Also just got a "Welcome to VZW" email from Verizon.

BTW have any of you sent in your rebate form yet? Any idea how long it takes?

I would suggest people shop around before ordering online. I literally just walked into walmart like 2 days ago and got one, they had like 3.
