Ordered online Aug 12 (just phone)
TO be delivered by Aug 28
Called on 20th and was told it would be the 30. Got email saying same.
Shipped 23 & arrives today.

1st smartphone so I hope I like it. If no major problem will either start modding immediately or sign up for tethering for a couple of months.

Interesting, since the phone is on the truck, but not scheduled to deliver until tomorrow I was talking about this on Twitter and on there I was contacted by @FedexRobin from FedEx who is contacting the driver to see if he can do the delivery today instead of tomorrow.

IT's saying mine is still located at a FedEX location in Newark, NJ. since 2 am this morning. I really doubt I will be getting mine today.

Cool just got a phone call from FedEx saying that they would try to deliver today if there's time but the main packages for today have to come first. That's cool.

Phone came via Fedex around 12:45 pm. Just waiting on the accessories that are on a different Fedex truck. Going to try to refrain from activating until I get my SGP Ultra Clear screen protector.

I would be surprised to see them ship with it before the official release. In fact I'd be surprised to see it until a little while after the release.

I received the shipping notification on Sunday around 8pm. I checked the FedEx link and it showed the my package was in Memphis and shows that the shipping information was send in @ 4am on the 23rd. My status has not changed since then. The FedEx site and the email show that I would receive the phone on the 25th.

Just not sure why the FedEx site hasn't updated since 4am yesterday morning?

Thought I would update. I received my Droid X yesterday Aug. 23. Ordered on Aug. 7. So it took 16 days for processing and shipping. I'm liking it so far but I have a lot to learn. The only thing that concerns me is the camera button wobbles side to side. Is this just weird engineering on all DX's or is mine messed up?

Same here, someone probably didn't update their scans or something. Fedex is normally really good about updating their systems.
