New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

I ordered mine on the 16th, and I am getting it today. I ordered 2 x's and the accessories over the phone. I was supposed to recieve the 30th. Seems Verizon must have gotten in a new shipment, or driving the market up.

Ordered mine on 8/22/2010 and had a hang tag on the door yesterday 8/24/2010 from FedEx. Got all excited and called FedEx with the tag number to see if it would be worthwhile to pick up at the hub. It was a catalog. Still show a ship date of 9/7/2010 and no tracking info. Here I sit broken hearted.....

Got them yesterday and they are ok so far. Lots of bells and whistles but some of my WinMo/Sense stuff worked a lot smoother and better.

So I'm very unhappy. I went in search of a droid x the first week of august. Obviously I was out of luck as everyone was out of stock. I met with a local verizon store which told me thier next shipment would be the 25th, and that they would put me on thier backorder list for the phone.

low and behold here's the 25th and they still dont have any phones. f-in A man
I mean cmon, I could have ordered it online at that time and been sitting in good shape now.

now it looks like I wont be getting a phone till 9/9 if I order online

Ordered a replacement X on the 22nd, Ship date of the 8th... Last time I ordered on Aug 2nd, got the phone on the 14th I think.

Its taking slightly over a week to get the phone, don't worry its on its way folks!
