I ordered mine from Verizon online yesterday.

After reading all of you are getting yours before me. I have a loaner phone from Verizon since JULY 25th!!! My blackberry died, and I have the loaner until they had Xs delivered to Verizon.
Is it possible over a month and nothing? They called two weeks ago offering me an Incredible.

So I ordered mine on 8/27. I'll order accessories separate too-don't want anything slowing this down longer...I want my toy!!

Got my D1 last year from Best Buy with $100 instant credit. Wife needed a new phone so we went by VZW but off course no X's in stock. They said no one had them. Stopped by Best Buy since they were a block away. 30 minutes later we were heading out the store with my wife's new X!! They got a shipment in the day before. $100 instant credit by the way!!

i used to work for a shipping company, and one of our out-stations was Ontario, CA. i questioned why we grouped freight for Los Angeles and Canada....that's how i found out...lmao

I`m curious as to how my order will work out. I called up my local authorized agent and had them order a DX and the extended battery for me. But I didn`t pay for it or anything, they added me to their list. I "ordered" on the 17th and the site said they next shipment for my zip was 8/23. The agent told me they just changed that to 8/31, then a few days later I called to check on the order and she told me the first week of september. I was told the regional manager was trying hard to allocate a shipment for the area but I haven`t called back since. I think I will try again monday. I really hope I get it by tuesday.

Hey guys, been monitoring this post, as I, like many of you have been waiting for some time now. I got over the initial "Christmas morning" feeling and decided to just wait patiently. I placed the order for my phone on 8/15 from a Verizon store. I believe that because I ordered from the store I will not be recieving an email confirmation from Verizon. This concerns me because everyone in my household, me included works during the day. Curious if there is anyway to know that it is coming, so I can arrange for my neighbor, who is home in the day, to receive my package.

Ordered: 8/15 from an official Verizon store in Denver, CO.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

You can call and ask and try and get an estimated date, but I just put a sign on my front door telling the fedex man to leave it at my front door.you have to sign it and date it, but I just put a date range on the note. this worked for me and he took the note with him, so make sure you sign and date.

The fedex cs rep told me that i could leave a note telling them to leave the package inside the door or give the address/ name of a neighbor and the neighbour could sign for it.

I feel I have been very patient about this whole matter, but hearing about people who ordered theirs almost a week after me, and have already gotten their phones...makes me angry! Hahaha. Oh well, still nothing to do but wait. Getting excited!
