how do i get the super clean version 2.4 on my phone? i got everything else but i dont get the extracting the something to the rar file ?

you download the .rar file labeled SuperClean in the OP and use Winrar or a similiar program to extract the .tar file you need to your desktop so ODIN will recognize it

nope...ODIN always fully wipes...you should wipe if going from stock EB01 to SuperClean...just a heads up

Use Titanium backup for your apps or let them reinstall on their own when you sign in again. Your contacts should be saved by google and will reload also when you sign in. I'm not sure if backup assistant is included in super clean or not. if it is, you can get your contacts back that way also.

no need to factory reset, ODIN will wipe everything on its own.

ok so im ready to do this but it still says usb device not recognized and odin obviously wont do anything. im getting so frustrated with this thing not working. everything is checked in usb mode, mass storage, debug, etc. i dont get what im doing wrong.i installed the device drivers from samsungs website. is it not the right one, if not where do i get the right one. someone pls help. if theres anyone in indiana im about ready to drive to your house and have u do it for me im so pissed.

try rebooting the phone while connected to your pc and vice versa

ok so i got it to go but it stops about half way and says all threads completed. ( succee0/ failed1). now what do i do

I was in the same boat as you and after Tapout made one last suggestion, this finally worked for me. In addition to debugging, turn on "allow mock locations" and reboot. My pc recognized phone after this step. Good luck.

i cant do anything with my phone now. it shows phone connected to a comp. it wont start up. i can get the yellow download screen still tho. for some reason my phone will b connected then all the sudden it says unknown device in the cornor of the comp screen and thats when it goes bad. i need help asap

when i put the battery in my phone is when it shows a phone, yellow exclamation point and a computer on it. so im guessn im screwed. i can still bring up the yellow download wout the battery and it plugged into the comp.
