[Odin] Full EB01 Froyo leak, packaged ROMs w/root and new clockwork **UPDATED**2/11

I haven't installed anything over this 2.9 package yet. Its standing alone. I installed it step by step as the instructions provided in the original post (via pdf in odin). Its a freshly rooted phone also.

Should I maybe just reflash it with a data / cache wipe for good measure?

I just updated the first post with the new ODIN 2.9.2 you can do or.....just go here http://www.droidforums.net/forum/sa...2011-superclean-2-9-ea15-eb01-eb16-based.html and download the SC v2.9.2 nonvoodoo rom, place on root menu of your sd card, wipe data, cache and dalvik or try just cache and dalvik first and install zip from sd card, choose zip v2.9.2 from sd card, hit yes to install then reboot.....

I'm new to all this stuff. I want a simple rooting process so I can put custom ROMs on my phone like MIUI. Would this help my process? My phone isn't rooted yet.

Never mind. That was a kind of a dumb question. I flashed and all seems well. 2.9 seems to have more of battery a drain though. Keeping an eye on it and it might not be related at all. Juice Defender has not changed settings, so we will see. Thanks again to everyone!

Great work on this! I am impressed and its great to see froyo finally. The only issue im having is unexpected restarts. I have noticed a few since I odin flashed this last night. The only one I can replicate is when I have my text messaging window open (with any given person) and hit the power button. Instead of locking it restarts on its own.

I still have to give respect on a great job here but im still curious if there's any suggestions on fixing the problem im having. Thanks in advance

I had this same problem with 2.6. Since I went to 2.9 i have not had this problem as of yet. But of course I did do 2.6 right from eclaire and did not wipe, so this may be the problem. Anyways, works much better now. I am assuming that you have a clean wipe when upgrading?

A huge thanks for this post. I am now running SC 2.9 and loving it. I do have another question though. I noticed that my GPS is a little off and I use it all the time. Is there a fix for it? I've googled the question and I am looking for a step by step guide. Do I use the Odin thing and just find the 2.9.2 patch and do the same thing I did to install SC on my phone? As always, thanks for bearing with me and take 'er easy.

i suggest updating to SC v2.9.2 here http://www.droidforums.net/forum/sa...2011-superclean-2-9-ea15-eb01-eb16-based.html it should def help with your GPS issues

Also in the market get the app GPS status and go through the options and set it up and it will help as well

just updated to v2.9.2 and enjoying it so far!! Thanks for all the hard work, as I said the other day as well..haha. So so easy for a noobie like myself in the rooting/etc of the Android platform..

Also, for the GPS issues, I just downloaded GPS Fix in the Market and it helped out quite a bit, picked up my location inside my house quite quickly...check it out if you're having GPS issues as I was..

Just flashed sc 2.9 and loving it so far, only problem is the GPS. I can go straight to 2.9.2 from this right? Or do I have to go to 2.9.1 to 2.9.2?

does the 2.9.2 odin put you on voodoo automatically? I used cwm for the first time ever to flash gingerbread theme... it said voodoo lagfix cwm version... and it looked orange to me, thought it was supposed to be red? Everything worked fine, just want to make sure im not on voodoo

You have to flash and voodoo rom or a voodoo kernel. If you did 2.9.2nv that's non voodoo.
