5 home screens or I'll be a bit disappointed. My daughter's Eris has 7 and she doesn't mind reminding me of that fact once in a while :) An upgrade to the camera would hopefully make it as good as the Eris' camera.

honestly how long would most use the live wallpapers anyway? to me its just a novelty that will get old quick
They eat up battery and don't run well on the N1 so the majority of users are not too thrilled with them. Novelty wore of in an hour or so. Check out our sister site for info on them.

I personally don't care about them. They are useless. But I do understand people like to have things like this.

Yea I agree about the 5 homescreens. There should be no reason what so ever for why the droid can't run smoothly with 7 let alone 5. Let's hope this is just all rumors and we ge the 2.1 everyone was so excited about in january.

CK, what's your SWAG on the 5 home screens?

My Droid runs perfectly smoothly with 7 home screens using GDE.

Currently I only use 2.5 since I use App Organizer. (great app btw)

5 is overkill for me. I have no use for that many screens.

im the exact same way and thats why its easy for me not to miss this particular feature along with the others we "arent" getting but for others it can be a deal breaker

The real question is whether we should deny the upgrade, as it may 'unroot' us. It all depends on whether it replaces the recovery image.

I'm curious about this one as well. I think it'll be just like the damn iPhone. If you do the software upgrade then you lose the root. Sounds right to me.:icon_eek:
