but devour is silver(which looks a bit cooler), and isn't motoblur a +?
Also the devour got meghan fox... so yeeaaah... we got a billboard or 2

I've heard that 2.1 is delayed so they can include Megan Fox. :icon_ devil:

I second that one. Even our own droidforums.net website removed the OFFICIAL: 2.1 to release this week on the Motorola Droid and made Megan Fox being the first post we see.

SO any new news yet ..any thing worth reading.....***********

I copied this from a post by Fezzik on the Motorola site:

I am going to take this as either it will start rolling out or will mass rollout at midnight tonight. Judging by your initial post was at noon. I am assuming that the confusion was in 12a and 12p.

Anyhow the off by 12 hours bit sounds possible to me.

MAYBE this has something to do with the pulled info; Motorola to roll out revised plan, schism not so clear-cut anymore -- Engadget

Maybe somebody got ahead of themselves and thats why it got pulled

That has absolutely nothing to do with the roll out. It has to do with their handheld division and future plans yes but the article gives no indication that the roll out for 2.1 will be delayed.

Who's talking about 2.1 being delayed? I was referencing the information about 2.1 being pulled from Moto's main site, in addition to their twitter site.

My brother works for Verizon, just as a sales rep, and he just told me that he heard the update was bricking phones in their tests and was cancelled until they figure out why. Like i said he is a run of the mill sales guy who i don't know if he heard from any reputable or not.

Second time someone has said the "bricking" rumor...hopefully he just read the first person's BS rumor on it.

Umm. that is most likely why the information WAS pulled? The only two reasons it would be pulled was because of false information. or postponing it and not giving false hope. so the question is... why do YOU care the information was pulled if it wasnt for these reasons?
