Ok, for all, I asked about the new boot animation, the word andriod is different, it is "Android" not the "Driod" we were used to.

Whether or nto that was made by the devs, dont know.

Yes the boot animation is different... probably to make it more universal unless the official OTA has the old animation or a new version of the eye.

RW if you have any problems just jump in that chopper and get down here... I have a freshly cut field you should have no problem landing in!

I've heard that ADW works but I could be wrong. I've also heard that all of your apps automatically download with froyo. Is this true?

So far so good.

I didnt have many paid apps, and nothing in my gmail acc, so I believe the synching for me was just contacts ...

email's setup, contacts are there, I'll have to reload pics, and stuff.

Anything you paid for is tied to your google account and would re-download. I had all free apps ...

Is there any way to backup settings within your apps? I have a bill tracking app and I prefer not to have to re-enter all o my bills again LOL.

After I installed this version I got a 865 on benchmark. ~12 hours later after adding apps and whatnot it is 1122. :icon_eek:

Some apps will backup to SD, Although I did a wipe / factory reset, your data on the Sd are good, for example mobisle notes once reloaded found a backup for me on my SD, poof! Notes back.

Kewl on ADW, if I don't like the stock, will go back to ADW.
