You're not stuck with anything. If you're that dissatisfied with VZW, why not just get out of your contract and go back to AT&T? You are still within your 30 day return window. And if the phone was defective, chances are you won't even have to pay a restocking fee.So now I have to go around asking friends if I can borrow an old VZW phone that they're not using. Am I the only one who finds this disturbing? I had the DroidX for a total of 3 days and it died on me. I am a new customer who switched over from AT&T and this is how they treat me? I saw the worse customer support and concern tonight. Sadly, I am stuck with VZW for two more years.
I swear, it seems as if some people stay in bad situations just so they can complain about it.
Why shucks, thanks for being an a-hole!
More info to fill your sarcastic behind on:
When I left AT&T, I paid a cancellation fee that I will not get back. I also paid an activation fee to join VZW and they told me they would not refund this fee to me. If I went back to AT&T, I would have to pay ANOTHER activation fee to get BACK onto their service.
So I pretty much would be out of $175. Why should I be out of $175 because VZW shipped me a faulty phone? I'm the consumer here, and I have a right to be upset about a faulty product they provided me with.
You think VZW would be going out of their way to get people to switch from AT&T and then do whatever it takes to keep them happy.
