MyBackup Pro will restore everything it supports, root or non-root phones are supported.

To get the application back onto the phone you will need to reinstall it, it does not self install, as this is impossible on Android.

If you use the same Gmail account to activate the Android OS on the phone as the one you had when you made the purchase, you will be able to redownload it again for free.
Or you can use the phone's Internet browser to download the Pro version file (apk) from www.rerware.com/Android on the right hand side of the page there is a link. Then, activate it with your Google order number.

Every other application I have paid for HAS shown "purchased" in the market after a data wipe of my phone. And it did NOT backup all the apps that it said it successfully did at the time of backup.

This is my experience with the app, My Backup Pro. I do not choose to waste my time posting on false facts. And in the past when I have posted something I was wrong about I was the 1st to admit the mistake. I simply just shared what happened with me and gave my opinion.

That being said, thank you. As far as getting the app back I will try the method in which you have explained. Again, thank you and hope I did not sound like an a**dancedroid

i just made the switch from the storm to the droid x. i receive tons of emails from different people and on the storm i could retreive the emails from one person if i put my finger on one email and it would bring up all emails from that person. does anyone know how to do that with the droid x or does the droid x even do that?

Camera....why does the camera flash not work on the first try 95% of the time. (just comes out dark like there was no flash.) Then during the 2nd try it works perfectly.

Anyways...when it DOES take...it works well. Another Night........another Cleveland Beer Week event with more pictures posted from the Droid X on my blog!!!

Which camera version are you using? The default one that came with the ROM? The patched AOSP one? Under what flash setting are you having the issue? I have the AOSP camera (fixed, with 8MP as an option), and flash set to auto, it hasn't failed yet...

Which camera are you using?
I'd clear cache/data on it, and see if that fixes:

Menu> Applications> Manage Applications> All tab> camera
clear data, clear cache, force stop (if available), then try again...

I'm using the stock apps.i didn't have any cache to delete but I deleted the "data"and its working fine for now

Yea I'm dropping in to bring up an issue. And because I'm not sure if it would be a ROM or Theme issue is why I'm posting it here

I have a few apps, including market, that randomly bring up the agree/disagree terms window before the app opens (as if it's first time running). Of course I agree, go amongst my business, and low and behold after a few or a lot of uses it pops up again.

Anyone seeing this or having the same issue?

i have been having a problem with the phone locking up so i have to do a battery pull. so tonight i do a factory reset and now its all clean but the there is nothing on each window with you scroll to the left or right. anytips on making it normal again?

I'm having the same exact problem, ever since the FROYO update.

Edit: Reboot seems to have helped. I missed out on a video of my wife making out with a hot chick at a Halloween party. That's when I discovered it wasn't working anymore. Bummer.

I'm having the same exact problem, ever since the FROYO update.

Edit: Reboot seems to have helped. I missed out on a video of my wife making out with a hot chick at a Halloween party. That's when I discovered it wasn't working anymore. Bummer.

OH NO! Well, that sucks.

First thing I'd try if it happens again, is clearing data/cache for the camera/camcorder

Menu> Applications> Manage Applications> all tab> Camera
And press the Clear data and Clear cache buttons.

i can use some help

I just tried to replace a boot animation on the DX i didnt do everything right
instead of going to root explorer n naming the old one .bak then copy pasting the new one from the sd into the media directory . I forgot n tried to do reboot into recovery n installing from sd n now i dont even get a boot animation . thats what i get for rushing . i get the logo but no animation at all n the file is on there, named .zip in the right folder but i had tried installing it from sd previously. what can i do to get my animation back ?. im screwed lost a lil of everything ?

ok part of my problem i edited the boot ani from what it was :

the text doc to this :

because i wanted it to still say "DROID"on boot but i did it with winrar not 7zip and i think it changing in size might have screwed it up . im i right n if so how can i fix this . i have know nothing about 7zip

After a few long hours help from Daali & oldschool his thread helped me and some things I added in this link might help you if you have the same problem or issue adding sound to your boot up animation

I have not been able to get backup assistance to work on my droid x. It keeps telling me my passwork is wrong when I ask for my password it gives me the same one I put in. It will not let me uninstall it is shows 2 backup assistance ver 1.? and 2.2
