OFFICIAL Droid X Issues/Problem Thread

I can't download or update any apps from the market. I'm receiveing a download unsuccessful message. I've tried clearing the data and cache from the market app and took the battery out of the phone for 5 minutes. I also hooked the phone up to the pc and looked in the android secure folder for duplicate apps but, the folder is empty. Anyone have any ideas?

Is this with newly installed apps or updates? I have found that apps moved to SD card will generate the unsuccessful messages. Try moving app back to phone and then update. Good luck

If your rooted you can freeze them with Titanium Backup or use Root Explorer to rename the apk files so they wont read or show up.

Power/lock button doesn't click anymore. It still works with hard press but am worried it will ultimately fail.

I have not been able to sync my verizon email to my Droid Pro. I spent over an hour on the phone with verizon with no resolution. Any suggestions?

Has anyone got Yahoo mail working on the X? Not me.

It was working at start and stopped working for a while. When I was ready to delete the account and sign up again, it started to work without any changes. When I open the window it shows correct number of new emails but new emails appear in the browser with long delay. Some times I have to click edit in order to see new emails in yahoo.

Keep hearing of people having troubles with yahoo email... I don't use the included email app... I use the yahoo mail app from the market, and have never had issues. Another option might be to use the Gmail app, and just forward all your yahoo mail to gmail.. would work as well.. could send and receive for both accounts from gmail app that way.. Other options at least. ?

No Incoming Call Ring

I have a Droid Incredible that just stopped making any sound at all for incoming calls. The ringer volume is turned up all the way & it's not on silent mode... I can't figure out what's going on. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Did you try shutting off/restarting it? I had it happen twice (not recently) and restarting it cleared the issue.

Thanks. That's actually the first thing I tried (twice). I think I may end up taking it into Verizon to see if they can diagnose the problem.

My browser is loadig the page but I can't see anything its just a white screen. I have tried a few different sites nothing. It has been acting weird for 4 or 5 days. Its not rooted. Any advice. I have only had it 4 months

If you are working via wi-fi try turning wi-fi off and then back on. I often get "can't connect" errors due to it losing connectivity.
