~OFFICIAL: FRG01B FroYo Issues/Solutions Thread~

What about it don't you like exactly? If you are having issues you can always do a factory reset, it might fix your problems.

I hate that I can no longer slide the box up to look at the other apps.
I hate that it installed twitter. I don't even use twitter!
I hate how it made the look of the inbox and the box that used to be slid up!

Since it's an app that came with the update and probably doesn't have an uninstall option you would have to root to remove that also

I did the OTA on my wife's Droid (stock/non-root) and now the phone will not boot at all (after hours). Its stuck at the "M" screen. Any ideas what the prob could be?

You really should just root your Droid and be done with it. The whole idea of rooting rests on the word *Freedom* - your freedom to basically do whatever you like with your phone. That includes removing programs & apps that you don't want to be there in the first place.

@ noserfatu The dev of the particular app must allow the app to be moved to sdcard...the Android app market is still in it's initial growing phase, and this is one of those growing 'pain' changes that soon will (or should) no longer be an issue. There may still be apps that perform best in residence, and dev's may simply prefer to keep their apps on board rather than on sdcard. Use apps2sd app from market to 'research' which apps on your phone can be moved to sdcard. :)
