****Official FroYo Rollout Thread-Version2!****

I received the OTA update this morning. I went to m.flash.com and it says flash is coming soon for my device. On the upside it seems like my Droid is running smoother after the update.

If you want to see if Flash is definitely preinstalled go to m.flash.com as mentioned previously. Lets put it to the test to make sure.

I just checked that site with the latest manual install.
thats a :icon_ nono2:

So what we have up front does not contain flash?

We are still speaking about the new 79mb update, right?
The same one we were bickering about in the Official Froyo Circus thread?
If so...the message i am getting from Adobe's website is saying
"Adobe Flash Player software is coming to your device soon..."
Unless there is ANOTHER update i was not aware of.
ehh

I did the OTA update this morning. I did not install flash manually. m.flash says not available for my device. I see the moving icons. Watched ESPN videos this morning. HBO.com says flash not installed.

People are reporting that they are not getting Flash OTA as we thought previously. That message you see is not what I get when I go to that site on my Droid. I believe we have the correct file in the Official Froyo Circus Thread.

The update I am getting prompted to install is 45.2 MB in size

I already have 2.2, I don't really want Google's version, I just don't want to get prompted to update. If I download that JRummy leak and then reflash UD, am I going to still get this damn prompt?

Ok, cool. I had Flash but I uninstalled it before I installed the new OTA from Froyo Circus.

On the older 49mb update, I had installed Flash and your right, I was prompted by Adobe site to look at their Flash compatible sites.

So its still the waiting game for the official Flash from Adobe to be initiated.

All good.

You shouldn't. The update should see that you have 2.2 already installed and will not attempt to update you.

^^ I'm reporting 2.2 now and it's trying to update, although UD reports FRF84B for the build, which may be why...

I'm backing up now, going to install it and hope Clockwork blocks the installation. If not I'll restore and then rename OTACerts.

I must have fallen out of the loop because I checked my phone as I walked out the door to see there were no icons so I rebooted and it said there was a system update available but the battery was too low. Felt like such a geek for speeding more than usual to get to work and plug it in to find out what update it was talking about. Last I'd read I thought Froyo wasn't coming to the D1, at least not any time soon. Yay! :)
