Now that I have the update to 2.2, how do i get adobe flash player installed?

You cant download the official version from the market yet. There will be a second 2.2 update in the coming weeks allowing you to download from the market. Until then its the waiting game.

Still haven't gotten Froyo OTA......

Um I unrooted and went back to 2.1.1 stock a few weeks ago waiting for the OTA.... Still waiting.... my friend took his Droid in to get a new one cause his was messed up and his new one has Froyo.... I was like you've got to be kidding me. Anyone else still not have it??

Negative ghostrider. I installed flashplayer right after my OTA 2.2 update today and it works on my phone.

I believe VZW is still rolling out the OTA. Earlier this week, I read a thread husband and wife both have Droids. One received the OTA one has not. Who knows why.

If you are really anxious you can do a manual install.

But here's my Q now: if you've already DL'ed flash, will you still get the update allowing to DL it from the market?

Can you try something and do the 'Check for updates' check. Im gonna guess it wont work, but motomobile tweeted that it would.

it works! I just "checked for updates" on my phone and it is giving me FROYO as I type this. Kickass.

I have a stock droid here and settings > About phone > System updates, says "Your system is currently up to date."

Battery fully charged, firmware version 2.1-update1

i went to the mall today to ask about why i didnt get the 2.2 update while others i know did.. they took my phone in the back and updated it right then and there! NO more waiting.. and it was free of charge.

LOL. We have two droids in the house. One stock, one rooted with 2.2 already. Neither have gotten the update, and going under system updates indicates that the system is already up to date.

Same here. No update and "check for update" does not work for me.
