In version 5 i don't have a fax option that I can see when I edit my contacts. Am I missing it?

When you go in to edit the contact next to the number there is an icon probably looks like a cell phone click the icon it has an option that says FAX so you can mark it as a FAX number. I don't think you can actually FAX to it but you can set it so that you know that number is a FAX number.

That works but..... the fax numbers previously saved in the old Verizon contacts list showed up as home fax when I checked them on my PC. That translates to a simple
landline "fixed" icon in MIUI contacts.

So home fax translates to a fixed icon and work fax translates to a fax icon when shown in MIUI contacts.

Maybe in China phones numbers are like children and they can only have 2 under the law. So, they don't need more numbers in MIUI...LOL!

who has a fax at home any way. actually who uses fax machines any more. its so much better and easier to just email.

and on top of that there is software that allows you to print on a printer not on your network if you actually want it to print to some one else.

Actually my contacts work..............can't say why wiped and cleaned everything.

Have to say I love this ROM. Replaced the bootanimation and dropped Slayher's 1.1Ghz in (was running hot and short battery life on stock - much cooler and seems to have helped battery issue...go figure). Otherwise running it as is. Wonder if there has been any communication with the Chinese dev team - have to say all involved have done a great job!

V5.1 is up, changelog will come soon

- fixed haptic feedback so it's not so aggressive
- removed boot animation
- replaced account and sync app, still working on getting fb contacts to sync
- added wallpapers to launcher

I'm currently working on fixing the issues with rom manager not working and the facebook contact sync issues as well. If you flash this rom over one that has working fb contact sync, it will theoretically allow you to have contact pics on this rom but it may screw other things up.

hey metickone, I'm still currently running 0.2.1(yeah from awhile ago, just ran so good on my droid) and I would like to flash this rom because my wifi isn't working anymore on my current version. You mentioned something about installing this v5 over a working facebook sync, could screw things up. Should I not install this rom over 0.2.1?

No, I've been looking into it. Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next release but we'll see.

Any updates on if the bypassing of the lockscreen when you slide the keyboard open bug (wow that's a long name haha) was fixed yet?
