Official Team D1-MIUI-10.29-V6.X Release

No I don't have a link, but what I could tell you is the latest update to swype that they released a few weeks ago. It's just odd the Lang/Keyboard settings is just the only thing that just force closes for whatever reason.

Where did you get yours? Mine doesn't force close but I only have one keyboard setup.

This worked thanks, I did all this but clear the data i guess the third time is a charm..

The only Problem that im having now is Signing into my Yahoo account on the stock "email" app..really dont know a way around this..

Go into settings and manage applications and clear data.

Reboot your phone, then go into keyboard settings, DON'T turn off the stock keyboard first, turn swype on first, THEN turn off your stock keyboard.

This should do the trick.

Can y'all with the RM Force close issue try one more thing?

First, uninstall then re-install from market. (If you have ROM Manager premium you might try uninstalling/reinstalling the premium license as well)

Then go to Settings > Programs > Manage Applications, pull up ROM Manager, and clear data

This might fix the issue?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as best as I can tell, this issue is rooted in restoring the app through Titanium Backup. It's definitely not an issue with the ROM itself.

Nice! Glad we could get that straightened out. OK - no more complaints about ROM Manager force closing! (as if that will happen).

Probably all that needed to be done was clearing that data. The re-install might not have been necessary.

Nope, when it actually opens for like 3 seconds it just goes straight to force close and I cant get back in to change the settings

Considering this is a beta ROM or maybe even alpha still, the point is for us to test it. God quit whining that these developers are working hard to make this ROM available to us in the most bleeding edge form.

Droid does Tapatalk

seriously? I mean...seriously...even though it is bleeding edge...developers should do testing themselves before putting stuff out...its called quality. Nobody wants to be known as the dev that has low quality procedures in place. Testing is usually done behind the scenes. Bugs can be reported then...and corrected before pushing to all of the users. That is why you have people who tried miui...had probs...and were discouraged from ever trying it again. And what do you think their opinion is of MIUI? (its CRAP). thats what they think even though they dont follow and keep up with updates...and obviously MIUI is NOT crap...its Imho the best rom out for android.

will you stop being so hatefull we are the testers we report the bugs so they can fix it do you not understand that. when something is in alpha and beta testing phases the users test the devs fix thats how it works. the devs have lives too if the community didnt help them by reporting bugs and testing they would give up on the rom and it would never release.

have some respect for what the devs do and if you dont like a buggy release wether its from the miui end or d1 miui end then wait for them to announce a stable rom.

both the Chinese team and our d1 team work very hard at pushing out a stable rom while working at their real jobs and taking care of their family. this is a community rom. the devs develop and the community test and report bugs and the devs fix when it is stable im sure they will announce a stable rom.

Go into settings and manage applications and clear data.

It says " mailbox access is not supported for some types of Yahoo! mail accounts. If you have trouble connectiong visit yahoo.com for more info"
And it wont even let me log in after that..IDK

Okay, that sounds like it's the wrong username or password, you dont have a supported account or the app is broken. Now I'm assuming you have used this app on other MIUI builds?

Yes but it's in system so you would need to use adb or root explorer. Did you try clearing the data in settings?

mehh..tried every combination if this i could, and it still force closes lol i dont really care though. not gonna sweat it
as for the black keyboard, if it takes up more space, then dont even bother adding it back in.

but again, is there any option for SMS reminders in this version that im overlooking?

I don't think that's going to fix anything but if you want to try what you do is go into system/app/ mount r/w and long press the app then hit delete.
