I was bored and noticed that the new MIUI boot animation was a little blurry and a bit flickery in some spots, so I took some time and re-created it from scratch. I think my version is a bit more pleasing to watch. Enjoy.

well, ive tried other roms and its still the same problem...i wish i would have stayed with v5 cause everything was working great....i have 3g, ive searched google and it seems its a common problem for some strange reason..never had this before...everythime i hit manage apps they wont even load its just sits stuck on customizing..i tried manually installing apk from file manager and it still gets stuck on install...i am about to scream...i am at a loss cause i just dont know what to do...any advice besides going outside and running over my phone i would be great cause im stuck...........

Try not installing the slayer kernel. This worked for another user. See if market works. Then apply kernel, and check again. Report back with your results.

well, did more digging and searching it looks like its my sdcard..programs are trying to install to that automatically so i took it out and had no problems...i put it back in and will try from file manager after i remount if that fails then i will wipe sd when i get home from work and start that from scratch......i knew it wasnt this awesome rom.............

Yes. I tried doing the factory reset/ wipe cache from CR, but most of the time I went in and formatted everything but the SD options. I just noticed another poster basically just posted the same symptoms that I am seeing, so at least I am not alone.

Don't wipe from CM. Do all the wiping and the resets from Clockwork recovery. Wipe cache, boot,data, sd-ext, all of your partitions..I can almost guarantee you a Clean install and FC less rom. I've got JDJFG 1200Mhz Kernel and 6.2 is Absolutely Flawless for me (Knock on Wood)..I am only wishing that Metick or Zen can incorporate "Enable Scrollable Widgets" in the stock launcher of this Rom. I like LPP and ADW(Which already has that feature) but Stock MIUI launcher is Too Sexceee to just not use

Has anyone had a problem with their home screen wallpaper resetting itself to the default wallpaper after a reboot?

This was a problem for me on v5.1 that bothered me enough that I rolled back to v5. Up until today it wasn't a problem for me on v6.2 but it just reared it's head.

I use a live wallpaper from the market (Galactic Core), but now when I reboot I get the default wallpaper with the water droplets and I have to set the live wallpaper back up again. The lockscreen wallpaper stays on the one that I set-up (custom from my gallery).

Do you have installed on your SD card? Cause you know the Launcher starts way before the SD card is mounted, would explain why you're getting default wallpaper on reboot.

No, I keep 100% of apps in internal storage. Even the ones that install by default to SD I move back to the phone since I have plenty of space left. I'm double checking to see that it hasn't magically moved itself.

I just checked... no apps on SD whatsoever.

Is it safe to start themeing or should I wait a few more weeks I don't know how often the releases are going to be as I thought this was the comeing out of beta release

Hey guys,

In addition to not getting all of my contacts from Exchange synced (I only get approx 1/2), I can't figure out how to load a clock and weather widget. The market says that it downloads and is installed, but I have no idea where they go. I go to add a widget to the screen and I get options that include Analog Clock, GV large and small, audible, power, etc., but none of the new clocks. I have tried Cypha Flip Clock, Team Fortress 2 Clock, and Digital Clock with no luck.

I did change my kernel, and as somebody mentioned above, this might have caused a problem. Will I need to reflash the ROM to get the original kernel back?

Could be, but I've been using it for at least 2 months and issues have only popped up in the last week with these recent builds. It happened from the outset with v5.1 and just started happening with v6.2 which I've been running since shortly after it was released. I've tried to troubleshoot and no matter what I do after every single reboot my wallpaper gets reset.

I hadn't tried any other wallpapers, so I'm trying now with one of the stock ones.

EDIT: I just tried one of the stock live wallpapers (Nexus), and it's the same deal. It resets to the default water droplet wallpaper upon reboot.

I know I'm the first to mention this but has anyone else experienced this? I might be one of the few people who uses a live wallpaper.

I found a random little bug and I am not sure what is causing it. When I send a pic I took with my camera via the message app (native one) or Facebook, it sends the picture sideways. My gallery knows which way is up, but when i post/send the picture it is always sideways. Anyone else having this problem?

Can someone link me the specific slayer kernel you're all using. I want to examine the zip and scripts to see if I can figure out why it's screwing people up.
