Old D1-MIUI-0.12.24.0

Fixes built-in screen capture
Fixes location of dalvik-cache (should fix rebooting when installing apps from market)
Fixes protected apps not showing up in market

I flashed without wiping data and when it finished my market and gmail apps were gone. tried to install using root explorer and got a reboot. 12.24.1 turned out worse than 12.24. Gonna stick with 12.11 til these problems are fixed.

well, you could wipe install 0.12.24.0, then when you get to the android screen (press android to continue) reboot into recovery and flash 0.12.24.1 without wiping.

also, just curious why 12.24 version wasn't on the d1 google code web site.

Im hosting the roms on my server now..im still meaning to update the changelog, but have been busy.

yea i do always unless its an update i specifically make for not wiping....

I had this problem and then when I tried to reinstall Swype it wouldn't reinstall properly so I gave up and uninstalled it. In fact at one point to do the uninstall I had to use Titanium Backup because it was not uninstalled but not showing in the list of apps so I couldn't uninstall it from the phone menus.

I haven't done any searching to see if there is a fix.

I see in your sig that you are running a MOD. I would start there. Email app is fine in 0.12.24.1

Just did the update. Seems that after putting .24.1 on there, my WiFi won't connect, or recognize any access points. Anyone else having this problem?

I connected to my WiFi last night just fine after updating. Not home now to verify, sorry.

Yea, I thought I had too. lol I did test my WiFi to make sure it was working on another device, and it was on, so... not too sure what to make of it.

Update: Just deleted and manually added my home WiFi access point, and within 5 seconds, all my local WiFi access points showed up and I was able to connect. Must have been just a weird glitch.

I was doing a lot last night, between my phone and laptop, both on WiFi. I think I recall, after updating, connecting to the Market and looking around as well as Twitter and Facebook. I remember that 3G was slow at the time so I switched to WiFi. Also had one less bar on it as well. Sometimes doing lots of things at one time makes it all blur when trying to remember details!
