Old D1-MIUI-0.12.24.0

What happened to the "Droid" ringtone?

Is there an "add blocker" in this ROM?
I really enjoyed that with BB.

Arghhhh..
I have to start Angry Birds over again.
..

1) not there, I just download it from any free ringtone app
2) I use AdFree from the market
3) Should have done a Titanium Backup and just restored the Angry Birds data.

I flashed 12.24.1 over the 12.24.0 without wipe. I still do not see the protected apps (Slingplayer). TiBu works-around this though.

Yahoo mail's SMTP still a no go. I know Yahoo is now a PITA but I've had it since the mid nineties and hard to change. I actually have 4 accounts with them. The paid ones on POP3 accounts related to my website/yahoo hosting works fine. It's the web based FREE accounts that do not.

There are a lot of people that use Yahoo mail, hence all the posts and workarounds made about this issue when the D1 came out. Then Motorola and yahoo somehow fixed the problem (I think the fix was with the 2.01 OTA Android Update but not sure).

I have tried almost all the ROMs on this board (ROM junkie) and none of them have this issue. They maybe using parts of the original software shipped with D1 that had this issue but I'm puzzled. TiBu does not fix this either, still no smtp outgoing mail.

Why dont you just use the free Yahoo Mail App in the market and add the Free e-mail accounts....because that works fine for me.

Anyone know why when I install a theme it gets to 50% than stops? It does this everytime even when I try to restore default theme.

Anybody else having an issue with gmail on this release? My gmail app is missing the checkboxes. I didn't change anything to remove them. Is there a setting I'm missing that removes them?

I had the same issue until I flashed the .1 update. Sometimes it would get past the 50% mark but even if it did get to 100% and prompt me to reboot it wasn't changing themes. I always rebooted to see the default theme. But after installing the .1 update it now completes the process including actually changing the theme. If you haven't flashed the update give it a shot. I don't know if the update was even meant to address this issue but it worked for me. :)

I have 2 issues just trying to see if anyone could help...On my theme the themer put a 3rd party inverted fb app everytime i try to touch install my phone reboots and the app is never installed! Also i'm trying to run my fix permissions through rom manager and i keep getting an error message. Any suggestions??

Not sure if this issue has been adressed before but I am having issues w/ the MIUI music player. Whenever I choose to filter by "Artist" the music player force closes, anybody know of any fixes?

I just noticed that i cant save images from the sms app. It only allows to view them. Usually, long pressing on the pic gives you the option to attach to sdcard. How can i save pics that people send me?

I must have screwed up. I did the update and I was stuck on the "M". Restoring Nandroid now. This is the first time in months that happened to me. I'm going to DL the file again. I used Dropbox to get it on the phone, like I always do. Very strange.

I finally got bit to work. I cleared both caches and it booted. So far, so good.

When I long press it gives me the option of which app i want to use. If I pick the Miui Gallery and hit menu the only option is to "save" and it puts the image into an mms folder on your sd card.

I just have to say this is the best build I have seen yet. Great work guys.
