OTA Updates Possible Before The 11th?

See VZW DOESN"T want to piss thier customer soff. Even with a sequel phone. Right before the Storm2 was released VZW was the first carrier to release a 5.0 OS of r a BB on a national level. They knew if the released the S2 with the improved OS they would piss a lot of people off. So they got it done. I think we will all be pleasently surprised as the droid continues it's growth. With 2.0.1 out for the droid and 2.0.x coming to the Eris and I think the G1 also. Support will be on going for a while. I do think there will be a sequel but not right away. It may actually take longer than usual

Too bad that that received didn't share the update with the rest of us. I hope the next to get it is someone that would do that.

This is an OTA update. There's really nothing to share, except maybe findings, and there's already a thread dedicated to that.

You'll get a popup notification on your phone when it's your turn. All you have to do is basically click "okay" or whatever to download it when it appears. Now it's just a bunch of sitting around and waiting.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to the order?
Since I activated last Monday should I expect to receive it Friday, or how dose it work?
Sorry for the green questions but Ive been a lifer with blackberry's.

In the eyes of verizon, there is most likely a way they are doing it which is very sound, but seeing as i don't think any of us know who or what is the determining factor (if any). They just don't want to roll it out all at once, and have the possibility their network crashes due to overload.

There is no order right now. From what i've been told. All the devices will be updated by Friday night

Or if you're really impatient, I'm pretty sure they found google's link to the update over at alldroid. I saw something about it last night, but I didnt have time to deal with it (Hellooooo Radeon 5850! ) I cant see it from work, but with that you might be able to manually download the update sooner.

Wish I could link ya, but for some odd reason alldroid is blocked at work... :frown:

Just was wondering if I should expect it sooner than later.
I can wait I am still learning this as it is, but wanted to be prepared if that was possible.
