sub workaround....

Is there ever going to be an update to this app?

I'm wondering this as well. FF7 stops working at the sub. :(

you need to use an emulator on pc to go past the submarine. you just transfer the memory card file to the computer and play through it, then you save and transfer the memcard file back to your phone. the part after it is reported as working. there are ppl that claimed to have beaten the entire game on their phones (except for the sub part), so it should work this way.

Now we just need someone to make the PS3 bluetooth controller work for emulated games on the droid..

the only worthy update would be frame skipping...... or some way to speed up the emulation because even at 1ghz it's still pretty slow.

Starting to lose faith in update =( i know on his Twitter he said he was working on an update, but I've yet to hear any news about this upcoming update besides that one twitter post, and that was a while back =\

i have been reading through what seems like endless complaints on this emulator. the fact is most games that require higher framerates, audio etc.. obviously will mess up if you are running a stock kernel or even an overclocked kernel without properly tweaking it. i have no trouble with any game whatsoever, and believe me i have tons of psx games. i would recommend to overclock (setcpu or if your rom supports without) at or around 1ghz, set to performance and play. i have project elite/slayher 1.25ghz combo and i set to performance @1ghz, or sometimes even 900mhz will play most if not all psx games flawlessly. just downclock when your not playing to save battery. (obviously) hope this helps, but i'm sure most of you already knew this. dancedroid

Wewt! There's an update in the market for this but it doesn't say what the fixes are. Can anyone check if any games that ran laggy run better now? I'd check but I recently formatted my Droid 2 and I have no games on it at the moment.

kinda suck that people paid $6 for a "beta" version :p
IIRC most people were cool with the idea of getting a BETA. They just wanted PSX on their cell phones.

Does this app mess up any at all with the new Droid OS update? I noticed Im having a lot of graphical problems with my SNES emulator as of late and would hate for them to drag over to the PSX.

Exporing Games to emulator

I am wondering if anyone has had any luck exporting their memory cards from the .psx4doid/ folder and loading them up using epsxe or another emu? if so could you let me in on your secret? When i go to look at my memory card files they are empty in every file i try, but when i go back in to psx4droid and load my save games, they show up. so psx4droid is saving them somewhere (and im not talking about the state save btw) or at least its able to recognize its own memory card files, but everywhere i have read it says use an emulator to load them up...without any real specification on what emu to use or how they did it, and the conversion apps {MemoryConverter, and PSXGameEdit} do not see the saves on the memory card either.
thanks for any help

This may have been asked several times, but I couldn't find it.

I have a Droid X and it is on version 2.2.

I am having difficulty getting both Breath of Fire 3 and 4 to work on my device. I have the bios in the correct folder, I have tried both games in .bin and eboot and both have the same problem.

What happens is, for instance BoF4, it starts up, even goes to the opening cinematic and then to the start menu. Then it prompts you what you want to name your character, after you confirm his name, the game completely stops and goes to the game selection menu in my PSX ROM folder.

BoF3 does the same thing, after you start a new game.

I don't think it should be a problem on my end, I have tested it out with Brave Fencer Musashi and Arc the Lad 3 and they both worked perfectly fine. But who knows it could be me.

If anyone has a solution to this, I would be most grateful.

1.5 is twice slower than 1.1........... glad I made a backup first.

Anybody else try out the Rom Buddy for PSX? I keep getting an error message telling me to check space on my SD card.
