am i missing something or did we lose the terminal apk? its not in my app menu? need to dl it or do i need to install a file im missing? anyone?

i just flashed mine for the second time... it was in the app drawer both times...i didnt change or mod anything...try reflashing it...

i tried typing in the bionic.sh in terminal, but it says file not found.

jaw4bama, did u delete the unthrottled folder from the sd card and sdcard-ext??

Nevermind i answered my own question...i DID NOT move or delete the unthrottle folder and everything seemed to work...

I am however the type that likes to know why stuff works, lol or doesnt... with that said, i too have noticed a much greater battery drain with this flash. NO COMPLAINTS though just curious what would cause this between iterations , always thought that it was mostly due to a particular Kernal... granted, if its from the pull down now having the switches, to heck with the battery, lol i love them there

This is my very first attempt at ROM'ing a phone... and I'm loving what is going on now. On the other hand, my best mate is a rom switching fool/ fanatic and jumps on anything that moves... his machine me, I'm happy with just getting something stable that is fast and doesn't FC all the time, so I'm here till im of no more use to the group ... Having 10 hours a day to mess with it, I'm happy to brake it in and spill on what is going on with it !

OK, reflash is done and cooked, proof in the cooling down has the terminal there in the tray... WOOT, now to see if the inputs get me unthrottled thanks for that advice!!! i did wipe cache/dalvic cache and format the system prior, just fyi, i did not however wipe data on this flash... for any curious

Terminal is up and running but no joy on the script, says bIonIc.sh file not found? going to try a third flash and see if the third time is the charm? any other advice short of the new 1.95 file due out sometime today?

You can't use swype in the terminal as it is case sensitive and swype puts caps in odd places

WoW, DUDE thanks, lol, i was wondering what the heck was going on, id have beaten my head against the keys not knowing that seriously thanks, after this flash cooks in ill try it again and let all know how it goes.
is there a way to tell if it is functioning? any indicator that the unthrottle is in place and being effective?

Just an observation...
I drive a semi and am in the LIGHT, either sun or not most of the day , i love the black theme but I'm curious how it will do in the brighter lights? any way to adjust it any? Either way, it is a FAR cry better than the origional and in time a slew of others will follow im sure... Cheers to you both for all of your efforts!

To anyone that has had the file not found... heheheh turn off swype anywhere else then open the terminal and have at it hhehehe that was the hold up, rebooted and will see where that takes us im going to run the battery calibration app after i finish and see if that might help the battery some as well...
