Well if I'm correct, a theme for any launcher only changes minor things like app menu, icons etc. But a theme for a rom changes everything like the market, gmail, dialer and so on....

You can use launcher themes no problem but if you flash thebes with a different system ui you'll loose the toggles

kewl, and thanks for correcting my issue last night/early this am with the swype issue, lol...

how do i tell if the theme would have a different system ui? i love the toggles and hate to lose them, will you be posting a safe theme list or suggest how i might tell so as not to lose it? if i did, whats the best way to get back to orig and get my toggles back?

I had the same com.android.phone problem. I had to SBF, re-root, and re-flash the ROM. I'm kind of glad that I'm not the only person that this has happened to. :icon_eek:

Im in a expanded network area on a network extender. I wanna flash 1.7 but Im affraid because you cant activate a Bionic u less your on a verizon tower Is flashing a rom the same or dont you really activate your phone when you flash a rom. Anybody no?

I'm having issues with Gmail foreground / background colors too. Now I have to say I'm colored blind and realize what works for most may not work for me. Is there a file we could edit that specifies fore/background colors?
