Why, when i do a wipe cache or a backup, do i get the message ," E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext] or in the case of a backup i get no sd.ext found so it bypasses it ? yet i do have a card installed?

That is looking for the Android apps to sd partition which has a different format

Here's my method. I wipe all required parts, install the firmware, let it sit for some time, download the powerboost, extract unthrottle to sdcard, use script manager to run script as root, it goes through, then when I reboot, it hangs. Doing something wrong?

Battery Life

Not sure where you guys are coming from on the battery life but since i have flashed this rom, i have seen a significant increase in battery life on heavy to moderate usage. Great rom, now lets see a custom kernel! *wink* *wink*

Installed 1.7 and still no lockscreen music controls. Anyone else having this issue?

Lock screen music controls working here fine! Not sure what is up with all of yours not showing. I upgrade form 1.6 to 1.7 flawlessly with cache wipe, dalvik cache wipe and format of /system.

Did a battery calibration last night and battery life is amazing right now. Only dropped 3% in about 3 hours with light usage. Ill post again when battery dies.

LOL, went to bed round 5 am... (day off today), woke after noon to 90% battery... at current time (2:16) with better than moderate use ( vids/surfing/several calls/ app installs and downloads) im still showing 76% , I'd say I am doing quite well with the battery considering it would have been half that prior to the latest update to 1.7!!! BUT... i will say, I did recalibrate the battery after install and while on the charger at 100%... prior to that it was droping the percentage while i was looking at it as if taunting me to do something *for what it's worth*

I'm personally a great fan of Black and Red themes... but , and mean this sincerly... it is almost a bit too black on black... tough to read in many situations where im not sitting in a dimmed out room this is in no way a flame on the Dev Team !!! next chance i get to donate, I'm there Great work all the way around!

i personally dont use them yet as i seldom keep music on my device... (slacker for the current win )) so i cannot comment. but i would like to know how to do it when i am able to settle into downloading some to my device? how to activate that option would be apreciated

there ARE lockscreen music controls...you just need to use the OLDER version of google music...it's the one with the square icon and not the headphones icon that's how i got mine working....

a basic question but relating to this thread...
the guys at tweekmydevice indicated that their review of "a few" themes would not work on this build... 1.6/7
how would that be the case and what should i look for in being able to apply themes to this rom/mod/phone? if say, i set up go launcher , would i not be able to use the themes avail to that?
any advice or clarification would be most appreciated.
