What kind of benchmarks are you guys getting with this Rom? I just installed 2.0 and this is the best I've seen. I wonder how this things gonna act once we get to OC it!!

Okay that was weird. So I tried to restore back to facorty via the one click fastboot restore and after I rebooted, I seemed that I have 1.8 theme and no bloatware. Any Ideas? Cuz this doesn't really look like factory lol.

Okay I seemed to have fixed my problem but ran into another one. On the forever root process, right when you enter in the stuff under Text Editing or what ever, it does show up as local.prop and it shows up as fi at the bottom. Do I just go ahead and type the stuff in after that?

I had that problem. It doesn't seem to matter. Just go to the end, hit enter twice (creating that space like in the video) and enter that stuff in.

Wow I feel like a champ. Just busted a 4 hour consecutive mission on getting this process down. Back to where I was 4 hours ago except now on 893, still rooted (but now with forever root) my girlfriends Restaurant Story Data is still on my phone so I won't get murdered, scripts reinstalled, unthrottled, blah blah blah and now I am happy!! Sleep time!

Yes, You need to go to stock, then root, then get the cheesecake app. From there you can install the .893 update. Then rom away.

Yes, but it's so easy I see no reason not to do it. There's a video on post #804 which shows you step by step what you need to do.

1) FXZ'd back to stock unrooted .886
2) one click root
3) install root explorer
4) forever root (modify mount_ext3.sh)
5) install cheescake
6) change to server to staging1
7) download and install .893
8) install bootstrap
9) install R3BLURR3D v2.0
10) install bootstrap
11) install 3XP3RI3NC3

What about Vodooo OTA Root Keeper. It seems to work but does not add those lines of code the forever root method talks about. I have not received an OTA update to prove it really works. It seems to let me root and unroot at will.
