I did not install the stock rom. I was running Liberty RC1 (i think that is what it is called) and wanted to come back to Th3ory. I backed up all apps with titanium and did the whole factory reset and all of the wipes. Then i installed the R3Blurr3d 2.0 and the system version I am sitting on now is 5.5.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US. From what I understand he built the rom from the "Leaked" Cheesecake. I could very well be wrong... but I don't think you need to Install the "stock" leaked rom unless you want all of your blur back. I did however do the whole "forever Root" thing.

Actually the reason for the leaked ROM install is for the radios and battery lasting. The ROM is based off the update but no radio update.

Thanks. Is the Kernel the same with the ROM Built by Th3ory as the Cheesecake leak?

Actually the reason for the leaked ROM install is for the radios and battery lasting. The ROM is based off the update but no radio update.

It doesnt help with data problem either correct but seems to make phone a bit snappier+ camera works 100%

Its not a 100% fix for the Data issues. Some of that is based off the LTE network (Well what is going to be the Network any how). There is no clear fix for the Hiccups in DATA loss at this time. Many of the fixes being seen on the net is basically Forcing the phone (Bionic) into a Hard search for Signal (Removing the Sims card) Then letting it reestablish a new connection based on the Changes of the Network itself. This is a way of forcing the Bionic to evolve as far as the Data Transfer is concerned. If the tower you are currently working off of has the new Software for the LTE network up and running when you do the Sims (Trick) you will probably find all your issues resolved. If you do it on an Old Infrastructure System then its not going to fix any thing.

Kernels can only be updated by the "Cheese Cake App" or if you apply the Real OTA at this time. No Rom will ever have Kernels built in untill the Bionic is "Hard Rooted" All we have at this time is known as Soft Root (Software only root, Not system)

If we ever get hard Root with the bionic then we can Apply Kernels and Radio upgrades without the use of OTA.

The New Theory Roms do have the Same System ID# because the Rom/System are Made from the Leaked OTA. This how ever will not give you the Radio or Kernel Upgrades without the Cheesecake Update

So far some have good feelings about all the fun of installing cheesecake. Others have felt its been a waist of time.

I did it so I would be at least equal to stock ROM ota. Its a personal choice and a lot of time to invest as you need to double check every step. I have had great luck with mine this far.

Thanks Wizard Just got back to my 4G in Ill been gone 3wks on a network extender. Im wright around the Ohara airport so maybe tower got update My phone was loosing signal even in 3G but was always able to get back without bat or sim pull. Just tog airplane or cdma. I lost sig on the way home but did get back without doing nothing had to go to cdma only in 3G otherwise no sig because it was on extended service area. Once I got to Verizon towers put it in lite cdma and it switched from 3G to 4G. So far home holding 4G. It will probably go out after I post lol.

The .893 did not help my data connection if anything it's having MORE trouble handing off between wifi and 3G/4G and calls. I tried the rootzwiki fix but it hasn't seemed to help. Will continue testing.

Awhh really? Dang! So even though Ive reflashed 2.0, can I get cheesecake still or do I have to go all the way back to stock again? And is there a way we can check to see if we have forever root? If it says Im rooted still after it has changed to .893, does that mean I got it right?

you have to go back to full bloated stock and do the cheesecake, then flash 2.0.

got the 2.0 running the tired to install the TH3ORYCR3AM_FINAL theme and got stuck on continuous bootloop. So used on click restore now I cant root any ideas on what todo

Not sure where you got it from but I think it its for 2.1 only. 2.1 has yet to be released.
